Back in town, Mike turned around and gasped, unable to believe his eyes. He started walking away from them slowly until he was close to the teenagers. The officers still were approaching them, so they went to find sticks and anything that could be sharp. One of the officers said, "we don't want any harm." They let them get close enough to talk, but one grabbed Emily by the neck and bit into it. It was the worst feeling she had felt in her life's dragged her out of the way, but she told him to stay away because she will kill him if he gets too close. He went back to chime in. He took Mike's ax and hit a vampire unexpectedly, sending him the fighting. Ross heard Emily try to transition, Ross caught an animal and threw it at her, she gave her a confused look. He said, "bite into it, it will help you." so she did. They could see the change in her. Her eyes were darker, and her skin was so clear and sparkling. It was like she was a whole new person. He knew he couldn't go near her, taking the risk of getting infected. He went back to where Mike was away from Emily. The officers took advantage of this and took her to retaliate. They had an idea of where they went; the abandoned house.
