"You know you're not supposed to be here right now, yes?"

"Yes, Heizou, I know, but I got bored at home and I missed you."

"So you sneak into my office through the window while I'm on hours?"

"Yes."

"You were home for an hour and a half!"

"So?"

"You're an idiot."

"I'm your idiot though. FOREVER, BITCH!" You extended your left arm out to remind him of the sparkly diamond ring on your finger.

Sighing, Heizou relented, and let you hang around his office while he worked. He made you promise to not cause trouble. However much you disliked the idea of having to behave yourself, you weren't about o have him fired for having you in there, so you agreed.

You lay on your back in the beanbag chair he keeps in the corner for when he needs a break or just doesn't want to do his work but can't leave the station.

"Huh, this shit is comfy..." you thought to yourself as you readjusted yourself into a better position and turned on Spotify. (cuz ofc there's phones rn ok? ok.)

Heizou looked over as the music started but quickly looked back to his desk.

"It'd be nice if I could cuddle him right now, but he needs to get some of his work done at least..." your thoughts wandered everywhere, so much that you didn't notice Heizou gasping at his sudden realization of what had been going on with the case and quickly stood.

"I'm going to report in real quick. I'll be right back," When you didn't answer, he said louder, "Love?"

"Huh?"

"I said I'm going to go report my analysis real quick, and I'll be right back. Don't leave the room, ok?"

"Ok."

"Finally! He's done!

I think..."

"Ughhhh..."

"There you are! You finally done?"

"No... cases are piling up today."

"Are they urgent...?"

"Hm? Why are you asking that?"

"I just wanna know."

"Well, yes, they are a bit urgent. I'm sorry darling, I know, these take forever sometimes. But don't worry, your genius husband will finish as fast as possible, ok?" He swept you into a hug, his arms at your waist and his face in the crook of your neck.

"Hmph."

"Please, my dear, I know I often put off my work but I've got to finish these last few."

"Fine, but can I sit on your lap?"

"Huh!?"

"Can I sit on your lap while you work?"

"Uh, sure, but please try not to distract me, I really do need to get these done."

"I'll think about it."

Heizou sat and you quickly made yourself comfy, your legs hanging off the side of the chair, your face in his neck, and your arms around him. Sighing as you settled and let yourself loosen up a bit, you smiled, finally getting the attention you craved all day.
