I open my front door and tell my mom that I was gonna go hang with Beverley. She questioned who she was and I told her she was just a friend. She said ok and I got dressed.

As I showered the lights in the bathroom went out. Mom? I yelled. She didn't answer. Ok maybe it's just the power I tell myself then reach to turn the water off. Mom can you fix the lights I yell again but still no answer. Ok ok stay calm I tell myself because being alone in the dark was my worst fear. I grab a towel and wrap myself in it then reach for the light flipping it off then on. It still didn't seem to budge.

I open the door a realize the whole house is pitch black and I could barely see anything. As I'm trying to calm down I see the door to my moms room open slowly. Mom? I call out. She didn't answer so I walked over to see a figure on the floor. That when it hit me. A movie I was and still am afraid of called lights out in one scene the girl is showering she comes out and gets dressed but the lights go off she looks in her door way and sees someone standing there. She turns the light in and what ever it was was now gone. She turns the light off and the figure re appears.

This isn't happening I say with my mind and heart racing. As I said that, whatever or who ever it was that was on the floor snapped their head at me. This isn't real, this is not real I say starting to tear up. The figure slowly stands up and starts to run towards me and I fall on the floor leave me alone I say as it comes to me. I put my head in my knees as I curl up. Sweetie? I hear my mom say. I look up and realize the lights are on and my mom was standing there confused.

Why are you in the floor she says. I wipe my tears and said I had just fallen. Oh well be careful next time she says.
I get up and get dressed into shorts and a shirt and head over to the barrens.

I arrive and see the guys all staring at bev as she's just in her bra and underwear. What's up creeps I say to them. They all look over at me. I thought you weren't gonna come? Stanley says. Yeah well change of plans because bev was coming so I came I say. And nice tiddie widdies boys I say looking at all of them. I could see them all blush.

Well let's get into the water I say. You are gonna go into the water with your shorts and shirt on? Richie says. No I say taking my shorts off then my shirt.

Let's go bev I say as we grab each other's hands and jump in the water. Come on bev says to the guys. They all start to jump in and we all just played around for a while. After a bit the sun goes down and I just watch as everyone is playing and having a good time forgetting what happened to me earlier.

I thought you weren't comfortable showing us your body someone says next to me snapping me out of my state. Oh well yeah I'm not cause I thought I was gonna be the only girl here but I talked to bev and she came so I was slightly less scared and even now I'm not really comfortable but I'm trying to get past that I say. Well we're all friends and no one's gonna judge you Eddie says.

I know that's why I trust y'all so much I say looking at the rest of the ones in the water. I could clearly see bill looking at bev when she wasn't looking. Ya know I think bill has the hots for bev I say to Eddie. Who doesn't have the hots for her Richie joins in. She is very pretty I say. I look over and catch Eddie just staring at me. Is there something on my face I say smiling at him.

Hm? N-no I was just looking at um Stanley Eddie says. What? Stanley says. Eddie said he was checking you out I say. W-what may? Eddie says. Kidding I say. Richie then comes and splashes all of us with water. Oh you're gonna pay I said chasing Richie who is swimming away. Richie come back I yell for him. Sorry what was that I can't hear you he mocks.When I catch you you're dead I yell as I still swim after him.

Do you like may? I ask Eddie. What no? Why are you asking Eddie says. I can see you always staring at her, you're even staring at her and Richie fighting right now I say. Ok maybe just a little Eddie says. Yeah right it's more than a little I say.

We all continued to play around then eventually got out to dry and listen to music. Well good thing I have a towel I say drying myself but then Richie takes it away to dry himself. Hey ass crack that's mine I say pulling it away.

I lay it out next to eddie and just watched as the sun slowly goes down. Gosh I'm thirsty I say reaching for my water bottle. Then looking over at the guys and see them all staring at bev as she lays down. It's rude to stare I say to them as they all look away.

Richie digs in bens bag and then says news flash Ben schools out for summer in a goofy tone. Oh that's not school stuff Ben says. Who sent you this Richie says while pulling out a post card. No one Ben says snatching it out of richies hand and putting it back.

Richie still goes through bens stuff and pulls out a folder with a bunch of old papers and stuff that happened before in darry. Darry isn't like any town I've been in before and there more deaths than six times the nations. I have more stuff if y'all wanna see it at my house Ben says.

We all agree and start to pack up and change into our dry clothes. Shit I say. They all turn and look at me as they grab their bikes. I didn't bring my bike I say. Why not bill says. Well for one I live close so I walked and two I didn't think we'd be going anywhere else I say. You can ride with me Richie says. Okay I say hopping in with him and holding onto him as we all went to bens house.

We walk in and see a bunch of like posters and stuff that you would think could be for a history project. Ben starts explaining about the old darry and how 91 people died and stuff and we all just kept looking around. Where was the old well at? Bill questions. I don't know. Somewhere, in town I guess Ben says.

We all decided to go home for the day and I made Richie give me a ride back. He complained but eventually gave in. Thanks Richie I say getting off and going inside. How was it sweetie my mom asks. It was fun you know like the usual I say. Ok well I made dinner eat and then wash up she says. I nod then went to go eat.
