The alarm went off very rudely and broke my dream. It was a very cloudy sky outside. Perfect. I loved the rains.
I got up and gt ready to go down for breakfast. Mom was already up so she poked her head inside my room and said with a sweet child-like morning voice," Good morning Rea . Come down fast would you?"
"Yeah mom....I'll be down in 15."
So, i took a quick shower and got in my Sunday jumper and track pants. I grabbed my Iphone and plugs and hopped down the stairs.
Mom was just plating up waffles and my coffe was already waiting for me on the tabletop. Finishing my breakfast I pecked my Mom goodbye and bolted out of the house. I headed towards the children's park for my daily jogging.
When I came to the park, it was my routine to either breathe in the fresh air or, climb my favourite apple tree. But today I stopped in my tracks. Numerousconstruction workers were all busily moving about inside the park. A board hung outside the park saying --------
END-OF-SUMMER FAIR !
CARNIVALS! GAMES!
PRIZES! FOOD!
FUN!
TONIGHT! 7-12 pm
My heart leaped with joy! A fair! So near my house! Well not SO near -- nearly 2 blocks away -- but still!!!!!! Oh my..........................................
I went back home with happiness in my heart and a spring in my steps. I'll still need my mom's permission.................
Then i'll call Jake.................
Then Jake & I will go to the fair........................
