CHAPTER EIGHT

"And what's your plan to slay 3 times?" Hardin asked when we returned to the Harryverse house, "You don't have enough power. None of us do."

"I've found someone to train me," Starry Harry said, "But you're not going to like it."

"Don't tell me..." Hardin groaned, "It's not her is it?"

"Who?" I asked.

"Her name is Kurtisssssss." Starry Harry said.

"She has my name?" I asked.

"Yeah but like with a fuckton of S's added onto the end of her name." Hardin explained, "Because she's a snake."

"She won't betray me," Starry Harry said, "Besides, she's the only one who can help. She's the only person on earth who has successfully slayed more than once."

"Then we have to go," I said, "We have to meet up with her."

So we drove over to her house, since she also conveniently lived in Spoons.

She welcomed us into her house, and introduced us to her girlfriend, Leah.

"So you want to slay?" She asked Harry, "It's a lot of hard work."

"It's the only way I can go home," Harry said, "Please, you have to help."

"Alright, I'll help," Kurtisssssss replied, "But it's going to be a lot of rigorous training."

"I'm willing to do whatever it takes," Harry said.

"Me too," I said.

"What?" Harry asked, "Why?"

"I'm training with you," I told him, "We're in this together."

"We'll get started right away," Kurtisssssss said.

Then we heard the sound of a baby crying.

"Nevermind," Kurtisssssss said, "We'll get started just as soon as I get my robot baby Chris Phucker to shut up."

"He cries all the time." Leah said, "I don't even know why we still keep him around."

Kurtisssssss went upstairs and came back down with a fake baby and took it outside. Then we heard a gunshot, but Kurtisssssss said it was unrelated.

With Chris Phucker quiet, we finally started our training.
