Another day...another day without any new concert announcements, or so I thought. "MOM! GUESS WHO'S COMING!" I shouted across the house. Big Time Rush was coming to my town. I could be dreaming right now. Am I dreaming right now? I could be, but I'm not. I've waited years for them to reunite. I ran into the kitchen to tell my mom the good news. "Mom, Big Time Rush is coming. I have to go see them. Pleaassee!!!" My mom was not so pleased that she had to pay for another concert, except this time I planned on paying her back.
My mom looked annoyed. "Another concert? I guess. Who's their opening act?" We just bought tickets to see Shawn Mendes in September. "I don't know yet. I thought it was Dixie Dameilo, but BTR said someone else is coming. It's a surprise. I'll find out when they announce." This concert is going to be the highlight of my year. I've waited ten years for this. Tickets go on sale next week and the concert will be a month from now, which seems like a long time to me. I haven't been to a real concert in a long time.
I am going to have to get a job if I want to save up to get a vip pass to meet the guys. I wonder where they are even hiring. I'd like a job downtown, maybe at a small café or at a local store. I'm not really sure what I want. I guess I can't be picky when getting a job downtown I'll get whatever I can find. Hopefully meet and greet is affordable.
"Mom do you want to go to the concert? I don't know who I can go with?"
"No Elizabeth, take one of your friends with you. There must be someone who likes Big Time Rush."
I have no clue who I am going to take. I'll figure it out later. First thing first, I should find an easy summer job. It is July anyways.
