Oh I remember the video, that faithful date, May 1st, 2015, we came out. Where I, Daniel Howell, finally admits that I am crazy in love with Phillip Lester. We were so happy, so full of hope and love for each other. It was almost the most fun I had ever had.

We tried, we really did. We thought all the phan girls and all of our friends who always joked about it would love the idea that we finally got together. We were so enthralled with what things were going to be made, and what stories would surface. The new gifs with 'heart eyes Howell' and 'love look Lester,' I honestly couldn't wait.

That's what I was trying to say to myself. When we were lying in bed, when nothing else can take your mind off the track to its own destruction. All the nasty texts from people who I had trusted, people I looked up to, people who looked up to me, haunted me. All the things I worked so hard to overcome, just came toppling down on top of me. I was trying to get my mind off of it, thinking of other things, like playing with Phil's hair, and snuggling with each other under the blankets. Anything, just to keep from drifting to a place I vowed never to go back to again. My mind knew I was trying to do that, and sorta did the "fuck you' dance, and forced all happy thoughts from my brain. There was no escaping myself. What are they lying about anyways?
It's all true.

Oops this is really bad and short. I wrote this whilst I was on the monotonous 12 hour car ride with pretty much nothing but my music and wattpad :) yay traveling. Enjoy I guess
