[Timeline/ A Night After The Massacre]

Shukaku Nara, the current head of the Nara Clan sighed tiredly as he walked home. As he reached home there he saw his only son asleep in the couch snoring slightly, he saw his wife in the kitchen washing dishes as he sat down on the dinning table.

" What happened dear? " Yoshino Nara asked her husband.

" The Haruno Clan was massacred last night " he stated making Yoshino stiff and dropped a plate in surprise, shattering it to pieces on the floor. Shukaku was surprised and checked the couch again and saw his son still asleep - he mentally thanked the gods that his son was a heavy sleepers he soon stood up and picked the plates guiding his wife to sit down at the dinning table with him, he sighed worriedly he knew how close his wife was towards the Haruno Clan head wife, Kaori Haruno.

Shukaku was worried, he knew his son and wife had a close bond towards the Haruno Clan head wife and youngest heir. Yoshino was still stiff she began to mutter out, " i-is t-t-there a-any survivors?"

Shukaku winced at the hoarsed voice his wife gave but hesitantly shook his head and spoke, " Sakura was the last survivor..." And with that Yoshino's eyes began to drip out with tears.

Kaori or Sakura's mother was a close childhood friend of hers, who sticked strong and thin together even at an adult age. Even if she was a close best friend towards the Nandame's wife and Uchiha Clan head wife, Kaori still stick through with her even in her hard times. She still kept the promise they made when they we're fresh graduated genin.

" Kaori-chan " a newly graduated genin 12 year old Yoshino asked as she looked up the skies. " Hm? Nani Yoshino-chan? " There stood a dark pink haired girl with purple amiphyst eyes, reading a book while sitting on the grass.

" Will we still be friends when we grow up? "

" What type of question is that?" Kaori looked at Yoshino somehow frowning, as she closed her book. " You know... We'll be busy doing missions and we'll get married and have a family soon- "

"-So? We can just catch up when we're free " Kaori chuckled. " Are you scared of losing a friend Yoshino? " She asked smiling.

Yoshino looked away not saying a word, Kaori stood up and went to her and smiled." Then let's make a promise then " she spoke up as she caught Yoshino's attention.
