Chapter 1
''VICKY'' sighing as I stepped out of my comfortable bed as I paddled my way to the shower. Turning on the cold shower to wake me up. A scream eroded from my mouth as I jumped out of the shower in a fast movement due to the cold water but now fully awake. Stepping back in to the ice cold shower and turning it to an adjustable hot temperature.
Wrapping my tall body frame in a towel as I stepped out of the now steaming hot shower. Squeezing lotion on to my hand as I massaged my tanned body with the cold substance. Swiftly pulling on my undergarments as I hummed the tune to 'Payphone' by Maroon 5 'VICKY YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!!' Ugh this woman! i'd probably yell down a curse if it was some other morning. 'I'M COMING!' Jogging half my way to my walk-in closet I grabbed a pair of denim shorts and a Jack Wills' hoodie slipping the purple hoodie on as I slipped on my blue vans; running a comb through my hair as fast as possible I made a dash for my bedroom door and to my certainly amazing luck my jean loop hole decided to get stuck on my door handle. 'fuck' I muttered as I untangled my jeans from the heavy wooden brown door. Stumbling down the stairs as the aroma of bacon and eggs filled my nostrils making my mouth water and my stomach churn in hunger. Eyeing a plate of bacon, eggs and toast set out on the counter top of the kitchen table. My mum staring at me and chuckling at my facial reaction as she nodded at the plate telling me it was laid out for me as well as the fact I had half an hour to go till 8 . I glared at her for pacing me through my morning routine.
Turning my head slightly to the right my eyes landed yet again on the perfectly presented plate i was eyeing a few minutes ago. Almost running my way to the plate and devouring my breakfast within minutes of receiving the plate as my dad chuckled at me . Kissing my forehead on his way past me telling my mum he would'nt be home 'till..... which I did'nt hear because I zoned out of the conversation. My head bobbing up immediately as I heard footsteps coming down the staircase,sighing in relief as I caught a slight glance of the familiar jet black hair of my older brother,Noah. Shortly after jumping in to the seat beside me mum set out a plate in front of him. His reaction being the same as mine as he scarfed down his meal within a few minutes of receiving the plate. The entrance door of our house slammed shut indicated dad had just left for work. I glanced at mum and realising she was getting her bag ready for her shift which she worked at as a nurse. Noah already getting out of his seat and putting the plate beside the sink basin as he gulped down a bottle of water from the fridge. Slinging my backpack over my right shoulder I ran out the door. I walked down the narrow pavement until I heard the familiar voice of my best friend Naomi calling for me. Turning around and realising I was right and it was in fact Naomi. I waited as she walked down the rocky pavement as she came and stood beside me as I gave her one of my embracing bear hugs.
