Feb 10th, Ivory POV
♡
This Morning I Woke From A Bright Sunbeam pouring from my thin white curtains. I groaned in annoyance as I realized today would be a busy school day.
I turned toward my nightstand and reached for my phone. I quickly scanned through my notifications and then gently tossed my phone on my bed. I stood up and walked out to my bathroom.
Once I entered the bathroom I quickly did my needed business.
I shortly after hopped in the shower.
In the shower I thought of how stupid these next few days were going to be. I had agreed to help Rosalie with our high school Valentine's event week. That meant me and Rosalie were in charge of setting up her planned events for this week.I got out of the shower and quickly ran to my room in my robe.
I scanned myself as I stared at myself in my room mirror
"Huh, I'm okay"
I sat down at my vanity and began doing my favourite ritual.
Feeling Feminine.
I began applying my favourite makeup products that I've been getting into lately. After completing my little routine I began lightly curling my now dry hair.
Once I finally finished getting ready I gently combed through my curled hair and began choosing my school outfit.♡
♡Once I Added My Boston Winter Essentials
like thick tights, my black oversized winter jacket, and my favourite knit gloves.
I skipped out of my room to meet my busy family eating breakfast and getting ready
I entered the kitchen and quickly grabbed a snack and some warm tea
As I walked past my mother as she scanned my outfit
"Rory, Don't you think it's a little to cold to be wearing a skirt?" She said while chuckling.
"Mom, Rosalie wants me to dress 'sweet' for this Valentine's week."
I groaned as I walked towards the kitchen island
I began sorting through my school bag as my mother tried to pester me with questions about my love life.
"Oh right speaking of Valentine's Day, do you have any special plans with any special someone?"
She said winking at me
I rolled my eyes and tried to ignore her
"You know Rory, me and your father are high school sweethearts."
Said my mother while shyly speaking
I quickly looked up at my mother in astonishment.
"Wow. That's really sweet."
My mom smiled and walked over to the kitchen island
She gently cupped my cheeks and said
"Don't worry honey, you will experience love."I smiled and walked towards the front door
To be honest I don't think I'll ever find that good kind of love everyone explains in movies.
I've never been in love before. I've always wondered can two people really share passion, desire, and affection for one another? I think love is just a big cliché."Bye mom! Bye dad!"
I yelled as I ran out the front door
I walked slowly down my driveway on the icy cold concrete
I got to my car and quickly got in, turned on the ignition, and began driving out of my drivewayAs I drove through the icy and snow covered city I thought about two things
1. This week will be painfully lonely
2. And to be honest I wouldn't mind falling in love here.
