How I met my dream

The day I found out

P.o.v- Eli
I sighed and tapped my pencil against my wrist and looked around the classroom. Thank god I'm almost out of high school. I yawned stared at the Promethean board, my English teacher, Mr. Patillo was teaching us a lesson about who cares. I groaned quietly and dropped my head on the desk. "Three minutes 'til the bell, Eli" I heard, I looked up and was met with the face of my best friend, Julianna Edwards. I smiled sarcastically and gathered my stuff on my desk and got ready to bolt out of the classroom.

My teacher turned off the board and dismissed us early, thank god. I stood up and started to walk out when Julianna grabbed my shoulder, "Meet up with me at south corner hill after school 'round 5:00, okay?" She said looking at me very seriously. I raised my eyebrow and nodded slowly and continued to walk out.

I stopped at my locker and entered my combination quickly as people ran through the hallways screaming and yelling at each other. My locker opened and I shoved my books in quickly as I grabbed my messenger bag, swinging it around my shoulder and shutting my locker.

Walking out of school everyday is the highlight of my life, for some unknown reason the feeling I get as soon as I open the doors and breath in the smell of cheap soil and fresh air I get this sort of adrenaline rush and I get the confidence and power to run to my bus ignoring the people around me. I understand how that seems completely melodramatic and insane but it's true.

I hopped on the bus nodding at my driver and taking a seat three chairs from the front of the bus. Julianna sat next to me as our other friends, Camryn and Jordyn slid into the seats in front of us. "Where's Suzy?" Camryn asked sitting on her knees backwards on the bus seat. I shrugged, "probably running late, as is normal. Isn't that question getting old?" I asked looking up at her. Jordyn snickered and sat down and began to do her homework, getting ahead of course. "Get it of my way!" I heard someone say from the front of the bus. I wasn't surprised as my eyes followed the sound to find it was Suzy, she was our Junior friend. Camryn, Jordyn, Julianna and I are all seniors and boy am I happy we're almost out of this school forever.

Suzy sat down behind Julianna and I and rested her head in the back of the chair. "Hey guys! What'd I miss?" She asked cheerfully. Julianna and Camryn laughed and the three of them started to talk while I read. Every day was like this, but On Fridays like these where the sun is shining through the window panes and the bus is hot and crowded, we all have this thrilling feeling of freedom, ready to take on the weekend then be crushed with disappointment Sunday evening.

You'll learn eventually that I turn everything into some thrilling moment or a really depressing one. I like to overthink things, it's my natural instinct but it helps me analyze the situation I'm in. I shut my book and smiled, our stop was almost near. I put my book in my bag as everyone sat down properly. We all stood up as the bus stopped and followed other strangers out. I stepped out first and watched as suzette and Jordyn walked up the hill to their neighborhood and Camryn took the west path to her house and Julianna and I went down the hill to our street. We all waved and laughed to each other as we parted and promised to text each other over the weekend.

I smiled as Julianna and I walked down the hill turning away from our friends. We reached my house quickly and I waved to her as I walked up my driveway, "Remember South Corner hill!" She said to me as I shut my front door behind me.

I was instantly greeted with paws on my legs and the sound of barking. I laughed a kneeled down stroking my puppy's ears. Flora, my baby pitbull puppy ran through the kitchen to the back door. I followed her and opened the door letting her run outside and let out some energy as I dropped my bag on the couch and slumped down next to it putting my feet on the coffee table. Flora ran in and sat down next to me resting her head in her paws as I turned on my phone and opened up YouTube. I had about half an hour of you the watching until I had to meet with Julianna. I instantly selected Markiplier's channel and started to watch his videos.

Time flew by as 4:45 rolled by and I turned off my phone. I stood up and shut the back door on my way through the kitchen. I opened the front door and said goodbye to penny as I strolled out and started to South Corner. The hill came into view soon and I started the climb to the top. Julianna was already there waiting for me, "Hey, what did you need?" I said putting my hands in my pockets. She didn't respond and looked at me smiling. "What. Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked as her smile grew. "So.... You know that guy, Markiplier that your obsessed with?" She asked still smiling. I nodded and raised an eyebrow at her expectantly. "Well, I managed to contact him. And he agreed to meet you!" She said. I felt my eyes widen as I screamed and hugged her tightly, thanking her many times. She screamed with me, "he's going to be in Cincinnati in a couple of days and we're going to meet with him. I'd love to stay longer but I have homework, talk to you later." She started to walk away as I nodded, at loss of words. I can't believe that I, Eleanor Margaret Tyler am going to meet Markiplier in person! I smiled and ran down the hill to my house.

As I walked in I heard the television and the sounds of sizzling on the grill outside. I smiled at my mother on the couch watching tv and my father on the porch cooking dinner. I sat down on the couch with my mom and paused the tv. "What was that for?" She asked, pouting. "Julianna and I are going to meet markiplier!!" I screeched, smiling widely. She smiled and laughed, we began to get into details, and obviously she allowed me to go.

I was so happy I could barely contain myself!
