Under a spell

Chapter two

"Who's this?"

I heard still looking at the floor. I was completely afraid to see what his girlfriend looked like. I mean what if she's absolutely stunning.

"Umm this is Aria. She's a friend."

"Nice to meet you." She said sticking her hand out.

I slowly looked up to be correct. She was gorgeous. I could never compete with that.

"I'm Natalie." Natalie smiled shaking my hand.

"How do you know Ezra?" She asked hugging his side.

"Umm-"

"She was my student." Ezra cut me off.

"That's so cool!"

Damn she's peppy.

"I should go-"

"No, stay." She smiled.

"Okay." I whispered.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked Ezra getting up, smoothing my dress down.

"Yeah sure. I'll be right back."

After closing the door to his apartment he asked "what's up?"

"Well to be honest. I don't know what I was thinking coming here."

"You're always welcome." He smiled.

"You seem happy. Maybe I should go." I started for the staircase but got pulled back.

"I'll be happier if you stayed."

When I went to step away a step I tripped and Ezra caught me. Bringing my body really really really close to mine.

"We should probably get back inside." I said without breaking eye contact and my voice cracking.

I could feel his hot breath on my neck and shivered.

I miss being this close to him.

You could basically feel the sexual tension in the air. But he pulled away saying 'come join us for dinner.'
