The Hell She Brings

Chapter 1.

Do'Ventis pov

* I was woken up by something cold against my head, thinking nothing of it I just turned and faced my window but it followed me so I finally opened my eyes seeing a man in a mask pointing a gun at my head. When he realized I owned my eyes he smiled slyly at me and I just froze. Staring into his dark grey eyes as he put a finger over his mouth telling me to stay quiet. I did as I was told then I heard my mother coming towards my room, I started to sweat and tears ran down my face. I watched as the masked man walked towards my door so while his back was turned I grabbed the gun my dad always put under my pillow and shot him in the head. My mother came running into the room as I watched the body drop to the floor not long after my dad came running in holding his gun in the air.

Mom was there frozen in front of the body with tears in her eyes. Dad seen the body he rushed over to me and snatched me out of my bed. After he checked me to make sure I was ok he sighed. He held me as he went and grabbed my mom's arm, taking us out of my room. when we got into my parent's room I saw my little brother sleeping in my parent's bed. Dad picked up his phone and waited for a moment before saying something I didn't understand.

" Sweetie can you tell me where you got a gun from " Mom finally spoke

" I keep one under her pillow when I lay with her so she can go to sleep," Dad said calmly and unfazed about what I just did

Next thing I knew gunshots were going off and dad

I jumped up out of my bed sweating and panting I keep reliving that same nightmare over and over again. I sat up in my bed. not long after I started to realize it was morning. I looked to my left at my clock reading 6:00 am confirming what I said. As I started walking towards my bathroom my room door slowly opened and I saw my dad pop his head in looking around until his eyes landed on mine. He smiled after seeing me and I smiled back walking to my bed. He came in with my favorite cup which I'm assuming is my morning coffee.

" Dad what's the matter, " I asked

" Sweetheart she finally made the first move to come near me after 12 years she finally warmed up to me " I watched as tears pooled up in my father's eyes

I hugged my father as he cried we never let anyone see this side of us unless it was just us together. We became the most feared mafia across the world sitting at the top, Granted we had a whole hell of a lot of enemies. But we have a lot of alliances and a lot of power as I held my father I heard someone come towards my room so I pushed my father off of me and wiped his tears away before I put my fingers in his face as the person walked in making it seem as if I poked him in the eyes.

" Boss, You have a meeting soon but I also want to inform you that someone has been trying to hack into the system, " My hacker said

" Alright dad let's get going "

" Sweetie you need to change first," dad said making me look down. In these types of situations I'm happy my dad is with me. I walked into my bathroom and closed the door. I took a quick shower and went into my closet all the clothes I have are black so I just grabbed something random. I put it on and went downstairs to meet my dad.

"Let's go " I don't like being late to meetings but I do make sure I'm the last to walk in. I got into my black Ferrari. Dad climbed into the passenger seat and I drove off to the warehouse.

I pulled up to the gate rolling down my window so the guard could see me.

" Welcome, Ms. Mariano "

" Open the gate," I said

This guard always tries to hold a conversation with me and I hate it, yes I know he said Mariano it's one of the last names I have my father's and mother's last names.

He opened the Gate letting me drive thru before winking at me. If he wasn't one of our good shooters then he would be dead right now, I hate him and his guts tho.

I pulled into a parking spot near the back of the warehouse cutting off the engine. My dad looked at me and shook his head smiling a little bit.

" What," I said with an attitude

" You know you could just kill him if he irritates you that much darling," Dad said

" I would if he wasn't one of our best shooters but I swear he will get killed if he doesn't follow directions again "

" Let's go I'm sure they are waiting for us, " Dad said

I got out of my car and waited for dad to get out to lock my car. He walked to the door opening it for me. We walked down a couple of flights of stairs to get to the meeting room. As we got closer I heard shouting and rolled my eyes. Standing outside the doors were my best friends Jazmine and Za'Ryin. They both looked annoyed as am I.

"What the hell happened this time "

" They are arguing over petty things again, " The twins said at the same time

I pulled out my gun walking past them towards the door. Opening the door I held my gun up in the air and fired a shot. Right behind me, my dad walked in along with Jasmine and Za'Ryin. The room went quiet as all eyes were on me.

" Get your daughter Mariano," Asher said

" No one is getting me I am in charge and you will listen to me unless you want a fucking bullet threw your head "

" Why did you make her head of the mafia anyways, It should be one of your sons," Jackson said

" My sister is fully capable of being the head of our mafia, Don't underestimate her just because she is a girl," James said

My brothers are always there to help especially James he may look soft but he is far from it, Jacob is feared more than me and my younger brother because he is bigger and looks stronger but he isn't.

" Shut the fuck up both of you I don't have time for your fucking nonsense," I said

Walking to the head of the table I sat down with my dad next to me and Jacob next to me. James sat across from me. I looked around at everyone as they went and sat down.
