Escape (part 2)

Never have I ever ran as fast as I have ran right now.

I was running out of breath and my running was starting to become slow.
When I heard footsteps behind me I knew Xavier had caught up to me.

I ran faster and came up to the forest we had passed.

Not debating the dangers of going inside; I kept running.

"Clarity don't go in there!" Xavier screamed from behind me.

But I was already deep in the forest.

The steps behind me were long gone, and the only thing I could see were the trees around me blocking the light.

It was the perfect scary movie setting, and now I regretted running away.

I came to a stop and looked around me.

It was too dark and I could only make out shadows.

Suddenly I started breathing heavily, trying to get air into my lungs.

Becoming dizzy I sat down on the floor, and started crying.

I was not one to handle being alone in the dark.

I was having a panicked attack and I didn't even know where I was.

Xaviers P.O.V

"Find her or I will kill you and your pathetic family!" I yelled at my beta, his shirt collar scrunched up in my fist.

I let go of him with a lot of force, throwing him to the floor in the process.

I was beyond mad that she had escaped. She had also crossed another packs territory.

Which meant she wasn't in my pack anymore, and it would be dangerous to cross over there.

But I didn't give two fucks anymore, I had to get her back.

"Alpha?" Someone said coming behind me.

"What?" I said angrily.

"We can't find her anywhere." Said my beta coming up from behind me.

"What do you mean you can't find her?!" I said.

"I dont-" He started saying, but I was already out the door.

I had come back from the building we held meetings in to the pack house after she ran. Too angered to look for her.

But if I was going to get her back, I had to look for her myself.

I drove my car at a dangerous speed to the same location she had escaped in.

Parking my car in the parking lot, I walked to the forest where my pack ended, and crossed the boundary.
