It had been 8 months since Denise and her husband separated. From the constant barrage of court fees to dealing with a controlling soon-to-be ex-husband, the divorce process had been far from pleasant.

While finishing up with a few things at work, Denise's best friend Tonya walks up to her office.

"Hey girl! How are things going?" Asked Tonya.

"Same shit, different day." Denise sighed. "Ex is still a piece of work but the kids are finally settling in at the new house."

"Well don't beat yourself up. You are a great mom." Tonya says. "So are you still looking for a new job?"

"Yeah but everything is minimum wage with horrible hours. I even thought of a 2nd part-time job to keep my head above water but then wouldn't be able to see my girls." she replied. "The entire job market is terrible."

"Oh! I know what you mean!" Tonya continued. "Hell, if I still had her number, I would have reached out to Amber to see if her new job was still hiring."

"Amber? She left a few months ago...right? Where's she working?" Denise asked.

"No idea. All I heard was that it was some place online letting her work from home. Rumor has it, she's making bank." Tonya said enthusiastically.

"Must be nice to land a job like that." Denise replied. "Well... rumor also has it, your boy-toy helped her get that job." Tonya responded with a smirk.

"Boy-toy? Who are you talking ... wait, Evan? From I.T. ? Seriously? Tonya, he's not my boy-toy. He just helped me with my work computer one time, that's it." Denise defended.

"Girl...he was checking you out!" Tonya teased. "You know...some men do like older women."

"Older? I'm 38, creeping 39. He's...what, 22? He could almost be my son." Denise continued.

"I'm just saying girl. I can tell." Tonya chuckles. "How about this, why don't you head over to his office and ask him about Amber's new job? Maybe he can help you too."

After glaring at Tonya for a few seconds, Denise agrees and begins to head towards Evan's office. Granted Evan wasn't a bad guy. He's sort of shy but he's actually a nice person once you get to know him. After making her way to his office door, Denise knocks.

"Oh hey there!" Evan greeted with a wide smile as he placed some computer parts down. "Computer acting up again?"

"No, it's been running smoothly, but thank you for that." Denise answered. "So...I know this is random but some of the girls and I were talking. You know, about money and work and all that fun stuff. Well...Amber's name came up and some of us heard you helped her land a job making good money. Is it true?"

Evan paused for a few seconds and then replied, "I have...what did they say?"

Denise could tell he seemed leery of her question. "Well... actually that was it. You helped her land an online job. She's now making a lot of money and that was the end of it."

Evan stood up and peeked outside his office making sure no one else was hearing them. After ensuring the conversation's secrecy, he continued, "You really want me to tell you?"

"Yes." She replied. After another short pause, Evan says, "Have you heard of OnlyFans?"

Denise was immediately taken back by his answer. "OnlyFans? You mean that website where women share photos of themselves naked to strangers?"

"Videos too." He added.

"You can't be serious!" Said Denise. "Are you messing with me?"

Evan assured her he was not joking. "I am dead serious. I was helping her fix her iPhone and while talking, she mentioned that she was struggling. I told her about this new trending website that's like OnlyFans. I was able to set up her account in a way where she was able to bring in a lot more traffic than most people starting out. I lent her some professional video equipment and after a night or two, the gig took off."
