The morning drive to work felt a little different to Denise. After dropping off her two daughters at school, she headed over to her favorite coffee spot just down the road from work. Upon treating herself to an overpriced frappe along with a warm pastry, she sat in the corner of the cafe enjoying her breakfast while trying her best to ignore her phone.
She looked out the window, seeing the rain hit the glass as she listened to the sound of the storm. Denise's mind was only focused on one thing...her unplanned hookup with Evan.
He was someone she never thought about sexually before, especially since he was 15 years younger than her. She kept thinking about how she lured him into her room and fucked him in front of thousands of viewers. Denise never had sex with someone that much younger than her...let alone someone who was that well endowed. She was still feeling a tad sore from last night after taking all of him inside her.
While trying to enjoy the peace of her own company, the notifications on her phone continued to go off. It hadn't stopped since last night. She eventually turned on the silent mode on her phone to bring less attention to herself. As Denise took a sip of her frappe, she glanced around the room to see if anyone recognized her. With only a few thousand views, she didn't think many people in Allentown would have seen her video.
A few moments later, she saw her screen light up with a text from her friend Tonya.
"Girl, I just heard corporate is coming in today. Shit's about to get real."
Rolling her eyes followed by a slight chuckle, Denise quickly finished her breakfast and headed out the door. Pulling into the parking lot at work, she noticed a few luxury cars parked in the "guests" parking spaces. After parking, she walked inside and clocked in. Upon entering her department, she began noticing the dreaded expressions on everyone's faces. People were panicking as they cleaned up their desks and pretended to look really busy.
Making her way to her desk, Tonya snuck up to her and whispered, "They have been here for almost an hour. It must be something big."
Carefully turning her head slightly, both she and Tonya looked over towards the conference room. Their boss was accompanied by 3 middle-aged men, each wearing suits that looked one size too big. Two of them looked vaguely familiar while the third guy looked like someone brand new. Brenda, our boss's favorite overworked secretary, was supplying them bottled water and coffee before she nodded at them and left the room. Rolling her eyes away from their line of sight, she then walked over back to her desk.
"What do you think that was about?" asked Denise.
"Not sure but when corporate is here, it's never good." responded Tonya.
Once sitting down at her desk, Denise turned on her computer and began to work. Often, she would glance over at Evan's office...wondering what he was up to. She could see him through the open blinds in his office, noticing that he looked really busy. Denise thought that he was probably working on another project assigned by their boss at the very last minute. While trying not to make it obvious, she pulled out her phone and sent him a private Facebook message.
"Hey there! Just wanted to say thank you for last night. If there is anything I can do for you, let me know. I still owe you one."
After a minute, she saw his read receipt and soon, the three floating dots followed.
"No problem! You were really great!"
Denise couldn't help but smile. Where she'd been in a toxic relationship for years, getting a small compliment like that was actually refreshing. Putting her phone away, she looked up only to see Tonya staring at her with the largest grin on her face.
