Fathers love letters

5 0 1

Daddy's words were written on a sheet of paper.
They were in some kind of pattern
Just how the words would flow from line to line
Saying how much he loved mommy
Then at the end of the letter he would write his name.
It was so quick, so crisp, so clean yet
I can still feel how he wrote his name on the sheet.
Then on the back of the page you could feel every word that was written.
Sometimes daddy would draw a flower after his name and in the center of it had a heart.
When he came home, a few months later, I showed him the letters and he told me-
"That flower it shows courage and hope; it hopes up and stands proud to. Thunder storm; and it will never back down even when someone picks it"
The letters would always comfort me when he was gone m. And now that he knows I'm reading them he writes to me too. And every letter he sent me had the flower with a heart in the center.
I would always write back
But with every letter there was something missing.
~the date~
To this day I always wondered Why didn't he wrote the date
Something in the back of my mind says "maybe he didn't want me to know the exact date he pasted away on?"
