A few days later . . .
Sprinklekit woke up, but . . . She wasnt in the sector room she passed out in. Sprinklekit was laid back against the tree in the Latex garden, sat on a pillow. The icecream gootrax opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. "You're awake!", the familiar voice caught Sprinklekit's attention. Before she could process anything, Figs and Plantix were in front of her. " You looked so awful when we found you in the sector lab!" Figs said. Then Plantix spoke. "I'm sorry about Mochi, it was too late for her when we got to you guys." Said Plantix, looking down at Sprinklekit. Sprinklekit looked down, just like that, she had lost her best friend. Sprinklekit touched the wings that were surgically attached to her back . . . Mochi's wings. Figs sat down, scooting to Sprinklekit. "Tell me if this hurts." Figs told her, and began to trace the stitches on Sprinklekit's body. The icecream gootrax winced. Plantix caught on and signalled for Figs to stop. Figs sat back. "Alright- I'm going to get something to clean those with." Figs said, and they got up and left towards the snow caves. Plantix sat next to Sprinklekit, and pulled her into a gentle hug. "I'm really sorry about what happened. A lot of people were looking for you two." Plantix said, gently, rubbing Sprinklekit's back. Sprinklekit flinched, but made no attempt to move away, pushing herself up closer on Plantix.
Sprinklekit was beginning to doze off in Plantix's arms, still a bit dizzy. Figs came back into the room with a first aid kit. Figs, of course, was struggling to hold the medical kit since it was anti-Goo. Figs dropped the First aid kit. "Finally.." They muttered, sitting down. Figs rummaged through the kit as Plantix continued cradling Sprinklekit. Soon enough, Figs had what they needed, going behind Sprinklekit and putting a damp cloth against Sprinkle's stitches. "Whats that?" Plantix asked. "WitchHazel. It cleans wounds, or helps with irritation." Figs replied. Sprinklekit soon fell asleep once Figs had finished. Plantix smiled, closing their eyes as well and resting against the tree. "I'm gonna go hang out with Kaiju and Carneline!" Figs said, getting up and dashing out the door towards the crystal caves.
