Soon the end of the year rolled up. Things didn't progress much from the disaster of the party, there was always a suppressed sadness and confusion in their heart but with the busy schedule and their approaching exams they accepted the new normal and moved on.
After the hell they (the humans) faced named exam they decided to celebrate the new year together this year when yanghi mildly threw in the idea of celebrating their two 'winter-child' hybrid's birthday since they couldn't do so during their exam time.
‘‘ You'll have double the space for hosting the party. It should be you ’’ was what she said.
And hence jimin and y/n got the responsibility of being the double host for the day
Which is why now they are here in the mall shopping for the last moment necessities while yanghi and hoseok are at their apartment looking after the hybrids who are 'decorating' the venue.
" Do we have birthday caps Y/N?" Jimin asked looking at the aisle which doesn't even contain anything related to birthdays or caps
"No Namjoon is bringing them along with the cakes and candles, I don't think we will get them here"
"Oh…what about balloons ?"
"We already have them decorated in the house"
"Should we buy some snacks"
"We already have them"
"Candles?"
"I said Namjoon is bringing them"
"What ab-"
"No jimin we have got everything and no we are not buying any type of alcoholic drinks no matter how long you stand here giving that longing look towards them" y/n finally got to the point
Yes, that is where he has been standing for at least 15min now. Since the last party they have decided that no alcohol will be allowed no matter how opposed to it Jimin and Namjoon appeared to be.
"Y/n why?~~....it's New year!! What about a little bit?" He whined with a big fat pout resting on his lips
"No matter how cute you are …the answer is still no"y/n began to push the trolley with a red face as a happy jimin (who already forgot about his drinks) ran behind her
"So you think I am cute?" Jimin asked with raised eyebrows as a result turning Y/N's cheeks redder

" Y/N look at my wall " the blond cat dragged her off to show off his wall with lots of excitement, tail wagging and ears twitching vigorously. Taehyung seems really happy and proud which is a good change since the last party when he started behaving unusually quiet even around her, y/n couldn't help but smile big looking at her pretty cat all hyped up looking at her with a hopeful glint in his eyes
The wall in question looks like an absolute disaster. It's really just a mess of tapes, balloons and ribbons awkwardly half hanging here and there in the wall…. It honestly looks like someone puked balloons and ribbons on the wall but to Y/n it looks absolutely perfect, it's sweet , innocent and colourful just like its designer.
" It's so perfect taehyungi thankyou for your hard work" she beamed at him with a proud smile as she began to pet his fluff kitty ears resulting the cat to melt against her full of glee nuzzling into her neck probably to scent his owner.
"Y/n will you look at my wall too? " Jin asked expectantly as he witnessed the second maknae getting so much praise and pets for his wall.
"Mine too. Mine too…. Look at my wall ….y/n-ie look at my wall too" the bunny hopped on his feet proudly showing off his wall too. He worked hard of course he deserves praises like his taste hyung too.
