Jamie sighed as he eyed her. "Excuse me for being rude" he nervously said laughing nervously biting his lips, which made the moment more awkward. "Follow me to my office, and we will start from there." Jamie said directing her to his office.
He was given his own private room, maybe because he liked being lonely, or maybe because no one wanted to talk to him. The glass room, where New York City roared outside was the only thing that made him feel not as lonely, like there were other people who were walking in that busy crowd who were just as lonely. The whole room was a mess though, ideas plotted everywhere, a bulletin board with all the ideas of a case, his desk full of files, every time he had an idea he would just stick it to a wall, or on his desk in sticky-notes.
"Nice place" Jess chuckled as she sat in the leather chair in front of his desk.
Jamie smirked as he sat in his seat as he looked at Jess, for one second getting lost into her innocent eyes but smirking "Business" he thought to himself as he began talking.
"Don't get too excited I am your mentor, trust me you will not have the time of your life, I think you actually lucked out hun." he said as he raised an eyebrow and looked at her.
"Training usually takes 1 year, if you are good. I will teach you the basics, and you will listen, because if you don't trust me you won't want to be an agent anymore." He said as he took a breath to continue.
"You will call me Agent Parker, nothing more or nothing less and the same respect will come to you as Agent Carter, do you understand?" He said in a demanding tone, almost scaring her.
Jess wasn't afraid of this tone, in the past, her abusive dad gave her that tone, but most of the time, wouldn't bare to touch her, sometimes a nice beating. Jess could handle a beating, especially from Agent Jamie. She didn't know what him, or his past.
Jess nodded as she bit her lip. "When do we begin?" She said as she took a sip of her coffee, staring at Agent Parker, who she could tell was trying to keep serious.
"We start now." he said as he smirked getting up as he began walking out of his office. "Leave your stuff here." He added as he was already out of the door.
Jess dropped her stuff on his desk and quickly followed Jamie. Matthew walked near them as Jamie smirked.
"This is Agent Jones, the only bastard in this area I call my friend." He said with a light chuckle."Agent Carter." Jess said as she reached her hand out with Matthew shaking her hand back. "What a pleasure." Matthew said. Jamie smirked rolling his eyes. "Okay lover boy I have a tour to give, try again later." Jamie teased as he noticed Matthew's attempt at flirting gone wrong.
"Anyway Mrs. Carter, let me start off by saying this is the main level, all the agents, or perverts at the moment, are on this floor." He said as Jess laughed lightly. "They act like they've never seen a girl in their lives." He said as all the agents there happened to be males.
"Really though." She said laughing lightly as she continued following him.Jamie continued as he brought her to the elevator. Walking in there were many levels of building, they were on the highest floor of them all.
"I'll simplify this for you." He said with a smirk as he scanned all 10 floors.
"Floor one, is the entrance, and you already knew that because I know you aren't Spider-Man.""Or am I?" She said wiggling her eyebrows.
Jamie rolled his eyes and continued, growing a little smirk.
"Level 1-5 are workers that you will most likely never meet in your life, from the mail, to the planning of where the criminals go, you barely see them due to the magical thing called emailing." He said smirking as pointed at level 6.
"This is the break room, there is food and drinks and there is where if you actually like to talk to people, is your best bet to go to for making friends." He snared, he was kind of rude when it came to the topic of friends. His trust issues always restricted him from friends."Floor 7-8 are training rooms, which is where lots of your time will be. From shooting rooms, to exercises, to a fitness center; that I've personally never been to." He teased as Jess laughed lightly .
He pointed at 9.
"And finally, this room is probably the most important."
"What's is it?" She asked as her eyes lit up.
"I wouldn't know, only the greatest get to actually see what is in there." He said as he clicked the button, and a password code was needed to actually work the elevator there to go."One day." He sighed as he clicked floor seven.
"Your training begins, and don't ask again where any of the stuff is." He snickered as he tried being tough on her, but her big eyes were hard to be mean to.Training was the part he hoped she would fail at. With the gun shooting to the lasers; she was good at everything she did. He rolled his eyes, a little jealous.
"How old are you Agent Carter?" He asked as he bit his lip.
"20" she said as they were back at his office packing for the night.
"Well for your age, I won't lie in impressed."
A light smile grew on her face. "Why thank you." She said as her brightened up face looked at him.
