Prologue

3rd person

"Heyyy! Guys have you heard about the disappearance of students?" Cater brung up a new topic as he drank his juice.

"Huh? Am I missing something? Since when do students go missing? Specifically in this academy..." Yuu questioned as he pets Grim, who is eating tuna.

"You haven't heard it Yuu? Well that sucks for you..." Deuce sighed and sweat dropped.

"People are going missing around our school, and is leaving behind random cards on the floor. It's like once that person is alone, they are gone!" Ace explained to Yuu.

"Gosh, that's scary...Let's hope it doesn't happen to us..." Yuu gasped.

"Yeah...Let's just go back to our dorms...Stay safe Yuu." Ace and the other four in heartslabyul walked away with him.

"Let's go Grim." Yuu sighed.

"Hey Yuu, do you think what they said was true?" Grim asked as Yuu tried sleeping.

"Mm...Who knows.." Yuu mumbled and turned to his side to sleep.

Leaving a little Grim with many questions, but he fell asleep soon.

*Knock Knock Knock*
"Yuu, go open it, we have visitors..." Grim mumbled half awake.

"ugh.." Yuu groaned as he got up to open the door.

Yuu found a Ace and Deuce on the other side. Yuu groaned in annoyance. "Ace what are you doing here-"

"NO TIME FOR EXPLANATION! LET US IN!" Ace yelled and pushed Yuu.

Ace and Deuce entered as Yuu just closed the door sleepily.

"What happened..." Yuu yawned as he went to sit on the bed.

"Everyone is gone!" Deuce panicked the answer.  "..." Yuu stared.

"We were all walking up the stairs to our rooms, then I looked away for one split second! And they are gone, all we saw was cards on the floor!" Ace explained.

"So we are sticking with you!" Deuce said as he put his fist to his chest, AS IF THAT WOULD TAKE THE PROBLEM AWAY!

"Whatever...Just sleep over there" Yuu pointed at a set of a bunk bed. (How convenient are you, Yuu?)

"Right..." Ace and Deuce got onto the bunk bed and slept.

That night ended with everyone sleeping peacefully, with only small worries.

Yuu was the one who woke up first. "Guys, wake up..We might be late.." Yuu shook Grim softly.

"Mnghhaa!" Grim yawned as he woke up slowly.

Yuu giggled and looked over at Ace and Deuce who woke up as well.

"Alright! Let's go!" Grim happily said.  Yuu opened the door to be greeted with a city.

He panicked and closed the door quickly. "Yuu, what's the problem?" Ace asked in annoyance.

"Uhh...There is a city, that's like...empty." Yuu muttered, Ace opened the door to check it out.

"WHAT THE!" Ace shrieked as he stumbled backwards. "Let's get out." Deuce suggested.

All four of them left, they all admired the wonderful city view, it was way more different than how theirs would be.

Yuu looked behind him, just to check if the door to his bedroom was still there...

Nope! It's just plain air...What is happening? Are we all in some illusion? Is this what the afterlife looks like?

Yuu taped on Ace's shoulder as he kept on staring where the door would be.

"The door is gone." Yuu bluntly said, as his jaw was dropped.

"Huh?-" Grim looked behind as well. "WHAAAT?!" Ace snapped his neck to look at that direction.

"Oh." Deuce muttered. "Are we gonna be stuck here?!" Grim sobbed. "I hope we aren't." Yuu was mad, he thought that this kidnapper is playing some prank.

But they were all so wrong.
