A Birthday to Remember

Quirk is Ghost

Y/n POV, around 6:15:

I woke up to a blaring alarm. I hit the alarm hard enough to break it, again. Alarm number seven in the dorms, great.

I yawned as I stretched, rubbing sleep out of my eyes before getting up and changing into a pair of black leggings and a f/c crop top to go and do my morning run in.

I brushed my hair and my teeth before putting my hair up into a ponytail and going out for my run. Not many people were up at this time of the morning in the dorms, but that was usual.

It was about 6:45am when I came back from my 20 minute run. Went and took a quick shower before getting into my uniform for the day and heading down to the common area where everyone else was.

Of corse, I remembered it was my birthday, how can someone forget. Although I did find it odd when people just continued on chatting in their respected groups

I walked up to the BakuSquad with my usual smile "morning guys"

"morning Y/n!" Mina said happily

"morning L/n~" Kaminari said, already trying to flirt with her

"Hey L/n!" Kirishima and Sero said at the same time

"Hey ghosty" Bakugo said, his usual scowl plastered over that handsom face of his (ahhhh in simping 👁👄👁)

I frowned slightly, still not the two words anyone would say to the birthday girl. I didn't want to think about the possibility that everyone had forgotten the special day, especially Mina

Third Person POV since I don't feel like writing in first anymoreeeeee

as everyone gathered for breakfast, no one said Happy Birthday to Y/n, not even the grape headed pervert, and that dude never forgot a girls birthday.

the only person who did remember was are favourite angry pomeranian who's ego was to big to let him say something to her

after breakfast, Y/n almost seemed depressed to Bakugo, but no one else seemed to notice. If anything they thought her dampened mood was because of a lack of sleep, which only made Y/n feel 10x better about the day (✨sarcasm✨)

as the day dragged on, Y/n almost felt like just breaking down. She didn't have the energy to do anything, and she hardly talked to anyone throughout the day

Anger issues had gotten Y/n a Birthday Present a few days before her birthday, and was putting it into a bag. He planned on giving it to her after dinner and finally confessing his damn feelings to her and hope to fucking hell she felt the same

Dinner that night was katsudon, but to Y/n, it didn't taste half as good as it normally did. She finished rather quickly, going and cleaning her plate in the skink before placing it in the drying rack

Iida scolded her for not waiting until everyone else was done but she simply flipped him off and went back up to her dorm room

then, the few tables started to talk about why they think Y/n had gone off like that. That was when Bakugos fuse went. He stood up, slamming his hands down on the table "you all wanna know why she's fucking acting like that? It's ghostys god damn birthday and you idiots all forgot about it!" He hissed, his crimson eyes burning with burning with rage

and that's when the rest of class A did remember. It was Y/n's birthday, and non of them had said anything to her. No wonder she felt like shit. No one even remembered that her birthday was coming up

And with that, the class decided to at least do something for Y/n. And while the idiots were doing that, Bakugo went up to his dorm and grabbed Y/n's gift. He went to her dorm and knocked on the door, hearing muffled sniffles

it took about a minute for Y/n to open the door, but she was shocked to see Bakugo, let alone Bakugo holding a gift that was for her

"you remembered" she sniffled through her tears, going and hugging Bakugo

Bakugo hesitated before hugging her back "I'm not like those damn extras who can't remember shit. And since your the most tolerable out of them all, I figured I might as well get you something" he said, looking away once Y/n quit hugging him

the two walked into her dorm, both of them sitting on the bed and facing each other. Hana read the well picked out card and smiled softly at it before going and digging into the medium sized gift bag

she pulled out a box of her favourite brand of chocolate, a $25 gift card to Starbucks and best of all, a Black Hoodie with a f/c Ghost on the front, her hero name across the back of the custom hoodie in her favourite font. She looked at the f/c lettering with a wide smile, running her hand over The Ghost Hero: Lady Phantom (lol. It took me so long to choose a hero name when I made a hero oc for this quirk)

She hugged Katsuki a second time, basically crying tears of both happiness and sadness. She loved the hoodie, loved the fact that at least someone cared enough to remember her birthday

Bakugo patted her head "and that's not all.... I like you Y/n. I have since that damn sports festival. Your amazing, and you never give up. Those are just two of the amazing qualities that I absolutely love about you. I understand if you don't feel the same about me, but I wanted your cute little ass to know"

Y/n almost looked dumbfounded. The absolute love of her life was confessing feelings to her. She didn't give him a verbal response, she went in and just kissed him, her h/l h/c hair flowing behind her as she moved (if you have really short hair, ignore that)

she quickly pulled back "I don't care if this is supposed to be the man's job, but Katsuki Bakugo, will you be my boyfriend?"

"damn right!" He said with a grin, going in for another kiss

after a little bit, the newest couple walked downstairs. When everyone saw a puffy eyed Y/n, they all apologized for the way they were during the day and how they were terribly sorry they were for forgetting about her birthday

at that point, Y/n was just happy to be there in the moment. A boyfriend, most likely soulmate, the one she would end up loving, finally hearing the words she so desperately wanted to hear from Katsuki's mouth

and as if on Que, the class took in a deep breath "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!"

Anddddd that's it for this chapter! Only took me about half an hour to write it and look at that, I'm updating two nights in a row! Amazing! And it's over 1100 words! Crazy! Anyway, I hope you like this chapter. Have a grad Day/Night my lil ghosts 👻❤️
