⠀⠀⠀⠀WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THE FEELING OF SORROW. suwa's eyes watch as a hole penetrates shinomiya's body, causing her to fall to her knees. 'this is bad!' she was still a bit far from her due to the distance of their jump from earlier, but suwa starts to take notice that multiple yonju, and even the honju they killed were resurrecting once more.
"what is that...?" shinomiya stares up in disbelief as she watches the skeleton-like monster pet the large honju. both the girls' hearts beat against their chest in an irregular speed, their eyes open as they stand frozen in their spots speechless. "i don't know, but this isn't good kikoru!"
"there now, i'll leave the rest up to you." shock runs through their bodies, wanting the world to lie to them when they heard the voice so ragged and horrific. eyes widen in confusion and alert, a hitch in their breath when they knew that they weren't hallucinating. 'a kaiju that speaks?!'
the kaiju starts to turn around to face the two girl who look at it in bewilderment, finer pointing in their direction. something is suwa's body tingles when it's words direct to them. "chew well and eat up now." the girl's body moves before she could process the pain of her shin, running towards shinomiya for her defence.
"fuck!" strands of hair as dark as the night sky stick to her forehead, the agonizing pain of a small hole piercing through her shin to take an attack for shinomiya. suwa falls in front of the girl in the process, grabbing on to her shoulders to knock her out to the trance she was in. "we have to get out of here!"
"all examinees are to evacuate to the nearest shelter immediately."
"evacuate? what good is that going to do? if we don't stop this thing now... countless lives will be lost." suwa watches shinomiya try to get up, despite the injuries that were both screaming at them to stop and treat it. shinomiya's thoughts wander to her father and the training she prepared herself for this moment, refusing to give up now. "no casualties are allowed on any battlefield where i set foot."
"you're so damn stubborn," the dark haired female slowly gets up to her feet, grabbing hold of the rifle which was provided for them at the beginning of their trail. suwa's sapphire eyes look straight at shinomiya's as her right hand instantly grabs hole of her suit. "don't die on me."
