Megan's pov 

" ok ms. Jenkins, it's just a sprained ankle Ashanti will be fine I promise," I reassured her, she was frantic. I grabbed my clipboard and sat down on my stool with wheels on it. " alright so how did this happen?" I asked prepping my pen to write. She looked at Ashanti waiting for her to talk. 

" i-i was playing in the sprinklers and I slipped on the grass and fell on my ankle," I wrote all that down. 

" ok so nurse Williams will be in here to wrap up your leg in just a second," I stood up pushing the stool to its place. 

I sat in my office going through my emails when I got a call from Bryson. 

Me: hello

Bryson: me and Billie found him, come to the house now

Me: I can't right now im working I still have 2 patients 

Bryson: Megan we have been looking for this man for years 

Me: im on the way now

I hung up the phone walking to ash's office, " hey dr.brown can you please take my patients today, I have a family emergency," 

" of course, you owe me though, what kind of family emergency?" she asked, I knew what she was hinting at, ash had been my friend since high school she knew what kind of stuff Billie, Bryson, and I did. 

" the kind you are thinking about," 

" alright well you go ahead I will see you tomorrow morning," I nodded shutting the door. 

******TIME SKIP 

I walked into the house Bryson and Billie told me to meet them out, I was very much not dressed to do this. 

I walked into the kitchen seeing Billie eating an apple and Bryson scrolling on his phone, " where is he?" I asked confused why they were just sitting in there. 

" oh downstairs, trust me there's no way for him to get out," Billie answered, " why you dressed like that?" Bryson asked looking me up and down. " I was at fucking work dumbass, you know what im gonna go change hold on,"

I had changed into a black pair of sweatpants and a white tee shirt. " alright let's go talk to this bitch,"

We walked into the basement hearing him screaming for help, " bro shut up damn," Billie grumbled, he sat there blood falling from his head. 

" please just let me go I have a wife and kids at home, ill do anything," he begged tears falling from his eyes. 

" We can't do that sadly, this would've been so much easier if you weren't a fucking snitch," I held out my hand for Bryson to pass me the gun. I pointed against his head, " I dont think I wanna kill you that easy, Bryson you know what to do," he nodded walking to grab a bat. He began beating him making sure not to kill him.

Nicki's pov 

I just got home from work I went upstairs and took a shower I went downstairs and made me something to eat while I was eating I called Megan

"Hello"I said

"Hey baby wassup"

I didn't say anything cause I heard a guy screaming in the back

"Baby you there"

"Oh I'm sorry I got distracted what was you saying"

"How was work"

"Oh it was good um baby what was that screaming in the background"

"Some guy woke up while he was getting surgery but they put him back to sleep"

"Oh is he ok"

"Yeah just fine but if he was awake longer he would've died but you know we don't want that"

"Yeah but get back to work love you"

"Love you too but I'ma be coming home a little late because his surgery is gonna take a minute"

"Ok bye"

"Bye"

End of call

I finished eating and put my plate in the sink and went upstairs taking a nap

Megan pov

"Please stop I have a wife and kids I need to be there for them"

"Fuck no your a snitch snitches don't live nigga what you thought this was snitches get stitches no around here snitches die"Bryson said

"Please it won't never happen again"

"See here's the problem only dumb people fall for lies like that but where not dumb you like we just catch people no we do research and history we got plugs so we know you do this and snitch one place we're not going is prison"I said

"And now it's the time we all been waiting for"Billie said grabbing a knife putting it to his throat

"PLEASE DON'T"

"Shhhh goodnight"I said covering his eyes then Billie cut his throat

"Nice one now we need a body bag"Bryson said

"Wait shut up Bryson yo phone ringing"

"Hold on"Bryson said picking up his phone

Bryson pov

"Hey"Rykky said

"Hey"I said

"Um can you come home my neck hurts really bad"

"Ok I'm on the way"

"Bye"

"We gotta hurry up"I said

Nicki pov

"Tae what you doing tomorrow night"I said

"Nothing"

"Oh well can you do my hair I'ma take Megan on a date"

"Ok yeah I can do that what time"

"BABY I'M HOME"Megan yelled making me jump up and run downstairs jumping in her arms

"Hey baby"Megan said

"Hey"I said

"How was work"I asked

"Sadly that guy passed away"

"Aww I feel bad for his family"

"Me too but I guess he body wasn't strong enough to handle it"

I looked at her confused
"What you mean,"

"Like we had to cut some of his bones normal people survive cause they're body was strong enough"

"Oh that makes sense a little"

"I know maybe if you was a doctor you would understand"

"What you tryna say yo wife can't understand shit"I said making her laugh

"No Chile you know when I'm lying it's just I guess medical Wise you don't understand what I'm saying"

"I'm going to take a bath"Megan said

"Ok"I said she went upstairs and took a shower I laid in bed finding a movie to watch

"Um baby I wanna talk to you about something"Megan said laying on my chest

"What"I said, she looked like she was thinking before she said, " nevermind," 

" go get some snacks so we can have a little movie night," she nodded excitedly, she knows what movie nights lead to. I couldn't take my mind off what she was gonna ask
