Since the day you and the White Lady started lived with each other it has been quite the task to adjust living with another person, you were used to going out alone, exploring the remnants of a fallen Kingdom, hoping to find the valuable relics of the past. But since the first few weeks of living with her you had gotten more comfortable with the presence White Lady but you just couldn't completely settle down, your doubtful thoughts bubbling up inside your mind.
You had constantly told yourself that "She is just a normal person like me" but you just couldn't convince yourself that she is an equal. It is hard push out of the thoughts that tell you "She is the Queen of Hollownest, of course she is better than you!" The thoughts were... Annoying, miserable, and every word you could use to describe the feeling of being lesser than someone.
You still took the help she offered and everything else she did for you daily but it just made you feel even more disconnected from her, it made you feel even weaker and helpless than when you were running from the two Mantis Warriors. It made you feel like a nuisance, a leech living off of her hospitality.
To find out if she really thought of you how you think she sees you as then the only way to get an honest answer is to ask her yourself. It made you feel awful to ask depressing questions like this, but this was the only way to get the truth.
You watched the White Lady as you laid down on the soft grass, trying to build up the courage to ask her what you really wanted to know.
If you weren't going to ask her now, then you could never ask her again. Getting up on your feet you walked towards the White Lady preparing to get everything off of your chest.
"White Lady..." She opened her eyes at the sound of your voice and said "go on, I'm listening." After taking in a deep breath you asked her "I want to know, do you think me as lesser than you?" She paused at your question, your body almost giving in on itself when she replied "No, I know I am the Queen but now we are in the exact same circumstances, it would be cruel to treat you as an underling." You were relieved at her reply, all of your stress seemed to vanish in an instant. "Thanks, I'm glad that weight on my chest has been lifted. Thank you." You were grateful that she cared. "I'm always here if you need someone to talk to, if you need to talk about any issues come to me, if you need someone to listen to you, just come to me." Her voice is so smooth that you just couldn't help but feel relaxed at the tone of her beautiful voice.
With the conflict in your mind coming to a close you no longer have to be stressed about her feeling superior to you, and you no longer have to feel bad about her being angry that she has to essentially be your mother.
Everything is perfectly fine for once, it has been a long time you felt as safe as this, you could just relax, sleep, and wake up with someone who is happy to care for you, with someone who is willing to help you when you need it.
There are so many things you could use to describe the White Lady, she is beautiful, kind, caring, motherly, and willing to help others in need. She is a mother everyone needed.
