Angel sat and quietly stared at Aria.
How she dances around with Lucas. It hurts him remembering how just 4 weeks ago she was as happy with him.
"No, I want a very cute home" she smiles at Lucas.
she couldn't help but feel nervous. he's always taring at her, sometimes she catches a few tears slipping down his face but before she could ask what was wrong he'd run away.
she turns to the left and there he is just watching her. pain In his eyes as she's wrapped between Luca's arms.
"you need to stop hurting yourself" Damien sits beside Angel "It will never stop Damien" Damien feels bad for angel because if it weren't for him Perla would have left.
she stayed only because Angel told her to.
"you know..." Damien looks at Angel with sorry. "losing the women you love doesn't hurt as much as when she doesn't remember you" Damien looks at Perla across the room.
Damien has to give it to Angel, he's strong sitting here and watching aria. Damien wouldn't survive watching Perla with another man, he would kill him before he lays a hand on his girl.
"why don't you just take her from him?" Angel laughs shaking his head "what good is it, if i take her? she wouldn't remember me Damien, she would most likely put a bullet in me" Aria looks at Damien and Angel.
When she looks at angel her heart warms. she doesn't know why but it does.
maybe it's because he makes her nervous. He looks pretty fucking scary.
"I wish i could help you, maybe i could kill him?" Damien looks serious. He may have hated Angel at first, bit it's all thanks to him he's got the girl he loves and his son.
"I promised her i would not kill Lucas, i will stick to that" He turns to look at Damien "don't do it either, she needs her groom" standing up he looks down at Damien for a moment "Damien, take care of my brother and sister, don't hurt them" Damien pats his shoulder.
"wouldn't dream of it" Angel walks up to the bride and groom.
"can i talk to her for a bit?" Angel asks Lucas as he looks uncertain.
His hate has demolished as he sees how happy he makes her. "she doesn't remember me, she's yours" Lucas gives him a pitiful look and walks away.
"do you mind if we talk out in the balcony?" she nods her head leading him out.
Angel smells her, he could feel the pain resurfacing again.
Aria looks at Angel "what's wrong?" Angel looks down at her. her eyes don't hold that shine they used to hold.
"I wanted to congratulate you" she smiles up at him and looks at the sunset. "thankyou it means a lot" looking down he releases a shaky breath.
"Is it true you and i were a couple?" Angels stomach drops and his eyes focus on her's.
If he said yes would it change anything? most likely not.
"No, they were rumors" those words felt like knives carving into his chest. "oh, well um" she feels a bit disappointed with his answer, not sure why.
"Listen, um i wanted to give you this as your wedding gift?" Angel hand's Aria a necklace with a key. "w-what is the key for?" she asks "it's a room in your new house" her eyes widen "Luca's gift is also a part of this so don't worry" She nods her head slowly.
"why are you giving this to me now? couldn't you wait until the wedding day?" Angel swallows the lump in his throat "I-I have a friend that's very ill, I'm sorry...I won't be able to make it to your wedding day" once again Aria stands disappointed.
she wanted him at her wedding.
"it's ok, well i hope your friend get's better soon" he nods his head "yea, thank you...I wish you all the happiness in the world princess" Her heart beats faster as those words leave his mouth.
Flashback:
"what's wrong princess?" Angel looks worriedly at me "nothing I'm fine" i lie, it's wrong to feel somethin for him...
flashback over
Aria holds her head feeling a little dizzy,
Angel steadies her. "are you ok?" he holds her by the waist looking down at her.
Aria looks up at angel "i-um I'm sorry, I've gotta go" Angel has no room to pretest because she walks away.
he stands outside staring at where she was just standing.
she's gone. he let her go.
walking away he goes to leave but is stopped by Gloria "you should fight for her" He looks at gloria for a moment "she's getting married, he's the man who makes her happy now, I'm the one that has to watch" he pauses "I let her go" Gloria looks at his retreating back.
She felt for him.
their tragic love story ended too early.
maybe their will be a time or day they will find their way back to each other.
