Coming Home Surprise

Welcome to chapter 18 of my book! So everyone probably knows what this chapter means by the title of this chapter.

KAGEYAMA'S POV

Finally. Today is the day I go home. Don't get me wrong, camp was fun, but I missed Sho. I miss everyone else to, but mostly just Sho. Him and I had a FaceTime call last night. He showed me his belly got bigger. I didn't tell him what time I was coming so I wanted to surprise him. Right now, I'm on my last plane about 2 hours away from him.

"Mr. Kageyama. What you like to eat on the menu?"

I scan over the menu looking for something good.

"Can I have the chicken and rice with a glass of water please."

She nodded as she wrote down my order and took the menu.

As I waited for my food, I started scrolling through pictures and videos with Sho and I. I came across a video where he tried to prank me.

Video Playing: "Tobio! Come here for a sec."

I watched as I walked down the stairs to see Sho holding a cup to the ceiling with a broom.

"Hold this for me. Will you?"

I grabbed the broom and held the cup of water to the ceiling.

"So. What am I supposed to do?"

He giggled which made me confused.

"Bye."

Sho walks off and I just stand there until I come up with a plan. I let go of the broom on the count of three and catch the cup of water.

"No fair! How did you do that?!"

I laugh at his little reaction and just kiss his head.

"Mr. Kageyama. Here's your food."

The lady handed me the plate and glass of water. I thanked her as she walked away.

After I finished my food, I decided to just take a nap to make the time go faster. Soon I heard the pilot talking.

"Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. We will be landing now. Please make sure you are buckled in as we land and I hoped you enjoyed your flight." That felt like the shortest nap ever.

I watched from the window as we land. After we land I grab my bag and head off the plane. When I got to the front my Uber was already there. I open the door and get inside.

"Hello. Are you Mr. Kageyama."

I nod my head then she asks for my location. I give her the address to the pack house and she begins driving. While she was driving, we were having a small conversation about my packhouse.

"You got a mate?" I smiled as I thought of Shoyo.

"Yea and soon we're gonna be parents. We didn't know how to react at first, but now we're super excited."

"How far along is your mate?"

"He is 2 months. We get to find out the gender next month."

"I bet you're going to be a great parent."

I smile at the thought of being with my kid. For the rest of the ride we kept a good conversation. Soon we made it to the pack house.

"Thanks so much. I gave you a tip in your bucket."
