Epilogue

Two months had passed, you and Alma as you now called her, were officially dating. Which meant you also had to help around the house more. So you weren't so happy when you heard a knock at the door. "If this is the pub landlord and the police men someone's in trouble, because it's my turn to kill them."

You opened the door and was shocked to find not only Jake, but a little girl. "Y/n! Good to see you!"

"You as well. And who's this?" You gestured to the little girl.

"Her name is María, her Spanish speaking family abandoned her. Her peculiarity is rather interesting. She can read, write, and speak every official language in the world. Also she's six."

You gasped and knelt down to hug her. "She's adorable and she's mine. I'm adopting her! My daughter! No one can stop me!" You picked her up as you stood back up. "Anyway, come in, come in. Emma will be so happy to see you. Everyone is in the parlor at the moment."

He walked behind you as you led him to the parlor. You gestured for him to go in without you, he shrugged and did just that while you stood outside the door. "Guess who's back to stay!" He half yelled when he went in.

You heard multiple people yell his name and cheer. They laughed and celebrated for a moment. "Jake, where has Y/n gone?" Alma was the one to ask.

"Right here." You responded for him as you entered the room.

"Oh my." She stood up and walked over to you. "Who gave you a child? Who's kid is this?"

"Jake brought her here. Her name is María, and she's mine now." You stated proudly. Alma just shook her head and kissed you on the cheek before going to cup María's cheek in her hand and examining the new child's face.

Jake, who saw the kiss, was confused. He pointed back and forth at the two of you. "Whaaaaa?"

Emma just laughed and answered his unspoken question. "They're dating, Jake."

He sort of just stood there for a moment. Before gathering his thoughts and yelling. "Finally! Emma caught me up the last time I was here but it seems I'll need another recap."
