Ill do tonight's shift [angst, its bad]

[what if Michael was the victim of the bite if 87?]

"You look like shit Jeremy..." Michael said while hugging Jeremy, Jeremy needed it, the past 4 nights has been like hell for him. He was surprised that he hasn't even died yet "d-do you want me to take tonight shift?" Mike pulls away so he can see Jeremy's face

"W-what.?!, no you-" before jeremy could finish his sentence michael kissed him so he would shut up "you can rest, jere. I'll do tonight shift alright? Just tonight" he kissed him again

Jeremy knew this was a bad idea and he had a sick feeling in his stomach but yet again- he needed some rest and it'll only be a one time thing so he agreed

Jeremy watched while Michael got ready, he wanted to say something, maybe stop him. He felt really bad about this but before he could do anything Michael kissed his forehead and walked out the front door

After awhile of jeremy telling himself everything is going to be okay he walked upstairs to mikes and his bathroom and started to run himself a late night bath, he thought maybe this will help him ease his thoughts and it did, it helped alot. After his bath he got changed into one of Michaels hoodies and a pair of his shorts and jumped into bed

[another time skip 🥲 morning time]

Jeremy woke up feeling amazing, he turned around hoping he'll see Michael but instead he didn't, he thought maybe he was waiting at work for him so he got dressed very quickly and made his way to work as fast as he could

When he got there the place was stranded around with police and ambulance. the minute he got out of his car he ran over, begging that Michael, phil or some poor kid didn't get hurt

"Mr. Guy?!" Jeremy yelled until he spotted him and when he did he noticed how Phil was shaking "mr.guy...? Are you okay..?" The minute phil spotted Jeremy he ran to him and hugged him tightly

"I-I'm....I'm so sorry... Jeremy.." was all phil could get out, Jeremy looked around, hoping to see Michaels head in the crowd but didn't, he pulled phil away and asked him "mr. Guy... where's fritz?" Phil let out a loud and painful sob and then  pointed to a random ambulance

Jeremy heart stop, he started to tear up and prayed for Michael to not be hurt, he ran over to the ambulance asking where he was and when one of the nurses opened the door Jeremy's face dropped, he nearly fell to the floor at the moment

Joan came out of the crowd and pulled him close, hugging him tightly and telling him over and over that everything is going to be okay and Michael will be okay, Joan watches the ambulance drive off the hospital and Jeremy just sobbed into Joan's shoulder
