Chapter 8 Just Candle light

I woke up with Tanner still sleeping, I went upstairs to take a shower. I wet down my brown hair and the water temperature began to rise, it started to become burning hot. I tried turning the temperature down, but it wouldn't go down. I decided to get out of the shower and I fell and hit my head on the side of the tub. I got up and the water temperature was back to normal so I proceeded with my shower. I washed my hair and body.
I heard somebody walking up the stairs, I paused. Tanner then walked in the bathroom, he began to strip and he jumped in the shower with me. He saw the bruise on my head and asked me, "What happens?" I said back, "I fell." He kissed me and said, "I love you." I smiled at him and said, "I love you too." We both got out of the shower and dried off. The light turned off and we went down stairs and lit some candles even though it was light outside.

We sat in my room with nothing, but candle light. All I could focus on was his amazing blue eyes, I leaned in for a kiss. He leaned in to and our lips met. Then I pulled back as I herd a bang come from upstairs, I went upstairs to look. I first looked in my parents room cause that's were the sound came from. I saw a teenage girl sitting on the bed, it was a girl from one of the photos. She had her hands crawled and I then realized that she was cradling a dead baby.

She then looked at me and said, " You killed my baby." I said, "No No I'm not the person that did this." She set the dead baby down and stood up. I stepped back and she attacked me, Tanner barged into the room and grabbed her and she disappeared. the dead bay be still sat on my bed. Tanner and I went downstairs and sat down.
