But later on as Sara got older she understood. Sara's mom did drugs. She understood the constant leaving, the craziness, the taking her to gross, stinky ,dirty peoples houses, the little red welts on her moms inner elbows, the snorting white powder up her nose with a little straw, the little white envelopes with red snakes on them, the having no money, the steeling money from her and grandma, the being late, the being hungry because she doesn't like the t.v dinners. She understood now. Everything fell into place.
