SonAmy: Dart

Oneshot

Amy, Tails, Knuckles, and Sticks all sat worriedly on the couch outside Sonics room. "This is all my fault." Amy cried and Sticks rubbed her back. "No it's not Amy!! It's that Eggmans fault!! With all his voodoo-robot-mischief." Sticks said. "Yeah, you only threw your hammer, hit Eggman, got him mad, then started crying, finally making Sonic go and put himself in danger." Knuckles told her in a sympathetic voice. Amy started crying more. Tails and Sticks growled at Knuckles. "You can go see him, Amy." Tails said and let Amy go in.

Amy walked in and saw Sonic asleep. "Oh, Sonic...I'm so sorry" she cried. "Amy..." He started to cough and moan. He started to sweat and scream. "GUYS!!! Help!!" Amy cried. Tails grabbed a shot and injected it into Sonic. "I thought this would happen. The dart he was shot from is in his bloodstream. It's gonna cause him pain until he wakes up." Tails sighed. "This should allow the pain to not be as painful." He explained. "What's it doing to him?!" Amy cried. "It a some type of change thing. It's changing his personality... One personality. It's getting him ready or prepping him for when he wakes up. Whatever he's having a nightmare of is going to be what that personality is directed to." Tails explained more. "Amy...you stay here and watch over him. We're going to warn the village that Eggman is planning an attack." Sticks told her. It was a one of those weird times she didn't sound paranoid. They left. Leaving Amy alone.
(1 hour later)
Amy was sitting by Sonics bed. Her cheeks were wet from crying. "Amy..." Sonic moaned in his sleep. "Please...stop" she cried. "I can't take it!" "Amy...stop crying" Sonic told her and reached for her hand. "S-Sonic??" Amy said, surprised. "Come here, Ames...why are you crying??" Sonic asked and tried to sit up and comfort her. "You-you were screaming in your sleep...I-I was so worried." Amy cried as he hugged her. "Don't cry...I love that smile of yours. Let me see it." Sonic told her and cupped her face to force her to look at him. Amy tried to smile. "Here...this will help" Sonic smiled and kissed her cheek. Amy blushed and Sonic locked his eyes with hers. "Better??" He asked her. Amy blushed more, but smiled at Sonic. The kiss made her feel different. Like the only thing she needed to focus on was Sonic. "Come on Amy...let's go outside." Sonic said and Amy's eyes sparkled. "Your eyes are gorgeous" he smiled. Amy blushed as she took his hand and they walked outside. "What do you want to do, Ames??" Sonic asked and they sat down on the sand. Amy giggled, making Sonic blush. "You never talk like this to me, Sonic." She said. Sonic wrapped his arms around her. "But I always think of doing it." He whispered in her ears. Amy's entire face was red. "You're Knuckles red, Amy. How about we just relax. We can cuddle here and rest. You look so tired." Sonic said and scratched her ears. Then causing her to immediately fall asleep. "Just sleep...when you wake up. Nothing will stop us from being together."

Tails was walking back with Knuckles and Sticks. They saw Sonic on the beach with Amy. "What's he doing in the beach?" Tails wondered. "Who cares? Sonics okay!!!" Knuckles laughed and ran up to him. "SONIC!!" He called. Sonic turned to Knuckles. A look of pure annoyance filled his gaze. Knuckles was surprised and he stopped calling. "Sonic? Are you okay??" He asked. Then he saw Amy asleep in his arms. "What happened to Amy??" He asked worriedly. "Nothing. She's completely safe. She was tired and I offered to be her pillow." He smiled at Amy's resting body. "This is weird" Sticks whispered. "I know..." Tails whispered back. "So you offered for her to sleep on you?" Tails asked, shocked. "Of course...she's my girlfriend." He smiled and kissed Amy's sleeping forehead. They all gasped and were completely shocked. "Shh...you'll wake her." Sonic growled. "What did you do to Sonic?!" Sticks hissed. "Are you some kind of Eggmans evil robot army?!" She yelled; causing Amy to stir. Sonic hummed a song to get Amy to relax. Then he stared angrily at Sticks. "I said to shut up. Amy is tired and needs to sleep." He growled. Sticks backed up, away from Sonic, and cowered behind Knuckles and Tails. "It's the dart! It's changed Sonics personality! I thought it's just change one, but it's changed more then one." Tails gasped. "How are we going to get him back to normal?!" Knuckles yelled at Tails, but only to be growled at by Sonic. "It'll take some time, but I can have one done by tomorrow. Due Eggman trying to take over the island it'll take longer for the second one." Tails sighed. "We don't even know if Amy is really alright. I mean he kissed her. He might have injected part of the substance into her. I'll need a blood sample. Of both of them." Tails sighed again. "It'll take a lot of time. They'll be almost unable to be separated." Tails finished explaining. Sticks looked over at Amy and Sonic. "I just want my best friend back" she whined.
