Coffee and Tea

Eve's POV

I woke up at about 10 am. I guess Kaya's still asleep. I got up and took a shower, then I changed into a shirt and put on a knitted sweater with some jeans and flats.

I creeped out of my room and made my way downstairs, where I saw Dylan, Ki Kaya and Thomas passed out on either the couch or the floor. I giggled to myself and went out to get some coffee.

Good thing that there was a Coffee Bean right next to the building. I bought some black coffee and decided to walk around a bit.

I was heading to the park when I received a text from Kaya.

Where are you? Have you been kidnapped?! Come home right now! Or else I'm sending the boys to go fetch you!

I text her back, laughing to myself.

I'm fine. I just got some coffee, I'm coming back. I didn't know you missed me that much.

She texted back a few minutes later, just as I reached the building.

Oh shut up. Just hurry, Thomas is going crazy. He wants to find you immediately. He just went out.

Just then I bumped into someone. Good thing I finished my coffee or else we both would've been drenched.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was goi- Oh, hi Thomas." I say as I realised the sandy blonde hair belonged to him.

"Hey, I just went out to look for you, where have you been?" He asked, clearly concerned.

"I just went out to get some coffee. But I'm fine, as you can see." I chuckled, making him blush a little.

Oh my god. His laugh. His smile. Everything is coming back. My crush. The love of my life. Is right in front of me. And this is not a dream. It's actually happening. How am I not melting yet?

He suddenly talked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"So, we should probably get back before Kaya freaks out and looks for us herself."

"Yeah, we should get back."

We entered the building and a few minutes later we were at Kaya's apartment door. I was about to open it when it swung open and I hit someone. Again.

"And I promise I'll te- ooof!" The person said as he/she hit me.

"Sorry." I look up to see it was Dylan.

"It's fine. I'm sorry too." He apologised.

"It's fine. Uhmm.. I think I better get in there before Kaya bursts." I say, looking past his shoulder into the apartment where Kaya is rambling on and on to poor Ki.

"Uhh, yeah." He stepped forward, leaving little space between us. We stared at each other for awhile until we heard someone cough. Oh shuck, Thomas.

"Uhmm... I'm gonna go." I say, avoiding the two and not looking back as I entered the apartment and walked by the back of the couch.

I leaned down and hugged Kaya from behind, surprising her.

She gasped, but calmed down when she figured it was me.

"Evey! Where have you been?! I've been worried sick about you!"

"I'm fine. Thomas found me."

"Yeah, good thing too or else he would've freaked."

"Uhh, yeah."

"Uhm.. wanna get some food?" She asked while fiddling with her fingers.

"Nah, I'm good. I'll just stay here, catch up on some sleep." I shrugged and went to my room, not waiting for her to reply.
