The sound of the announcer on the p.A. Talking about the sponsorships. The smell of dirt from the track. The people in the stands talking the smell of alcohol and sweat always made a pungent smell in the air. The moisture in the air always made it thick to breath in but I'm used to it. In Greens Burg Dirt bike Races are a big thing. In the beginning I was never a huge Fan of Dirt bike races. For me it always seem Dangerous and quote "hill billyish" Me and Ash always Joked back in middle school he would be the next big Dirt bike rider in Greens Burg. I always joked I would design my own brand of energy drink or something. Now here I am sitting in a stand at the top to try to avoid the smell of cheap booze and sweat and waiting for the race to begin. And now working as an artist and spokesperson for Monster. But I'm not completely required to be at these Dirt bike races for work. I come to cheer on my best friend and technically coworker in his races. And along the way I grew to like the Races.

After what seemed like an eternity later the Announcer comes back on the P.A. "Alrighty folks! You've waited and nows the time to welcome.....Your!.....RACERS!!" The crowd basically went bat shit crazy after the announcer said that. I stand up and look out at the spot where the bikers come out. I break my fixation on the spot when I start to here names of bikers over the P.A mega phones along with loud Engine in follow of the sound. I give up trying to completely focus on the area and listen to the names. "And! Riding Bike 15 sponsored by Hilger's Butcher shop. Carl Jackson!" Ah...Carl Jackson. Was kinda a smart ass sophomore year but was alright. "Up next. Riding bike 23 sponsored by Mikes Carwash. Felix Dug!" Felix Dug handsome. Yes. Good at his racing. Yes. Is very competitive. Very. "Next up ladies and gentlemen. Riding on bike 17 Sponsored by Monster Energy Ash Seal!" There he is. After the announcer called all the names I looked out at the dirt track the sound of cheering and screaming was overwhelming but in all honesty it was amazing the bikes engines screaming and roaring at full blast warming up to go at full speed I stood almost an aw at those bikes I looked down at the starting line trying to pin point where Ash was and sure enough there he was his dirt bike sporting the black and neon green colors of the monster brand and his green suit. Ash never looked amazing in green but he looked good and I liked it. The Announcer went on the intercom and gave the count down. Than the blaring siren and the wave of the checkered flag. The louder than Jet Bikes left the starting line as fast as they could the night sky shown down on them but the bright over head lights to light the track were brighter. I was excited for Ash but a bit nervous all at the same time but watching him and the others on the track. Toke my breath away and before I could help it a big smile came across my face as I cheered for my friend.
