Balarion, modern times
"Ughhh, do I have to go to this school?!?"
Eleanora was once again complaining to her parents at the breakfast table.
"Yes, now quit your fucking whining before I make you." Gina stated, not looking up from the newspaper they were reading.
Eleanora just glared at Gina. She was not backing down, not today. She looked at her sister, Wisteria, at the other end of the table, who was reading a book.
"Do you ever put your book down, you fucking nerd?" Eleanora said to Wisteria, who seemed less bothered by her attitude.
"Why should I?" She responded, looking at her sister over her book.
"Because-I DON'T KNOW BECAUSE BOOKS ARE FOR NERDS!!" Eleanora faltered.
"Damn. Guess I am one then."
"Language, Eleanora." Drista said, placing down a plate of pancakes.
"But mom-""No."
Eleanora sighed, guessing she'd have to accept her fate. She piled a bunch of pancakes onto her plate, scarfing them all down before pushing her chair back and getting up.
"ELEANORA YOUR PLATE YOU BIT-" Gina yelled, but Eleanora didn't listen. She put earphones into her ears as she finished up packing, groaning as her sister followed her upstairs.
"What do you want, Wisteria."
"Parent told me to come get you if your ass wasn't out the door in 5 minutes."
"Well tell them I am coming and they need to stop being so impatient." Eleanora spat, rolling her eyes as she picked up her luggages. She still did not want to go to this school, but it was the only one she hadn't been kicked out of for starting fires in the area, so she had no choice. She had been threateningly warned to behave in this school otherwise she would 'never see the light of day again' as Gina had put it, so any hopes and ideas she had had to get herself kicked out or start some mischief had long since been extinguished.
She dragged her luggage down the stairs and to the car, throwing the bags in violently which caused her to recieve a scathing look from Gina. But she didn't care. Wisteria bid them goodbye and got nothing but an eye roll from Eleanora in return, who had hated her since the day she was born. Unlike Eleanora, who had a mean and mischevious type attitude, Wisteria was a straight A's and well behaved student who recieved most of the merit awards in the house and attended a prestigious boarding school in the far away central city of Evergarden Heights. Eleanora despised her, as her parents then expected her to act like Wisteria, which she obviously failed.
Gina started up the car and drove off in the direction of Balarion city, as they lived in a small house on the outskirts, and Eleanora put her earphones in and shuffled her playlist.
This was going to be a long drive.
