Chapter 2: Pizza Day

As the day's work started, Ulgrin was assigned with a new agent to guard the D-Class cells and let them out to go and test in an SCP containment chamber. At this point, he honestly couldn't care less about his job and handled it with no enthusiasm.

"Ok, dumbass, just step outta the cell. At this point, I'm only here for the pizza and I can't afford for idiots like you to make my job any harder than it already is."

He continued with his job like normal until first break when the cafeteria was flooded with staff trying to get their pizza. There were even some members of the 05 Council in line. It seemed everyone wanted pizza, just like normal. As he waited in line, he overheard what some of the 05 were saying.

"I heard Bright was saying something about changing the recipe for the pizza."

"He could never! The pizza is too important. I don't even know how the staff would react."

"Don't know? We know exactly how that's go. They'd lead a riot against him to change the recipe back again!"

"Yeah, you're probably right."

"Did you hear what he wanted to change it to?"

"Pineapple. Pineapple toppings instead of pepperoni."

"Ew. Disgusting."

As Ulgrin sat down and enjoyed some delicious pizza, he was interrupted by Dr Bright, who was looking extra mischievous.

"Hey, hey! My number one guy!"

Ulgrin sighed.

"What do you want, Bright?"

"So uh, y'know SCP-294."

"Yeah..."

"I've thought of a paradigm altering idea!"

"Oh God, what is it?"

"Why don't we ask it for a drink that makes you immune to 096! That way we could all enter safely and without needing all the safety procedures!"

"Well... I mean, it's a pretty cool idea I must admit, but..."

"Yeah..?"

"... it's not. Now let me enjoy my pizza in peace."

With that, Bright left the table, still determined to make his idea work.

Ulgrin knew deep down that this idea would certainly end in disaster. All of Bright's ideas went that way. With a slight sense of fear for what damage Bright's ideas would bring, Ulgrin finally got to finish his pizza.
