Pool party! pt2

* this part is kinda inspired by "and they were roommates" in some parts, it's a trophy X cheesy fic go read it it's good :)*

* Paintbrush's POV: *

Hmng?.. I slowly open my eyes and my ears adjust to the sound around me, I hear a ton of bad music raging from outside.. then I remember, OH SHIT DID IT START ALREADY!? i race out of lightbulbs bed and franticly run too
My room next door and grab some towels and my shades, lightbulbs nowhere to be seen she's probably down at the party already. I rush down to the pool and open the sliding doors, wow everyone's here again.. not gonna lie it's nice to have everyone back together again, I put down my things on a near by beach chair and notice lightbulb talking to fan and test tube.

I decide to wander over to them It has been quite a while since we all talked, everyone looks.. older.. it's strange.. "oh hey paintbrush!" Test tube says staring past lightbulb, she turns around and gives me a big hug "painty! Your awake!" I blush a little from this. I think test tube noticed but fan was to busy writing something on his phone. Lightbulb finally lets go of me and I start to catch up with fan and test tube. "Hey painty I'm gonna go chill by the pool" lightbulb whispers into my ear "alright but be careful not to fall in, you know you can't swim" "yessss painty" she says sarcastically, I watch her run off and lay a towel done next to the pool and sit down to dip her feet in the water.

"Ah!" I hear a short yell coming from the left of me, fan, test tube and I all look to see lightbulb fallen in the water with yin-Yang standing behind her acting like nothing happened, ugh of course she fell in, I look around and wait for the life guard to spring in and get her out of the water but I soon come to realise there is no lifeguard, people start to stare at me so they except me to go in and save her? I start to feel a bit heated at the thought of saving her. "Painty just go in and save her!" I hear someone yell in the crowd if people "wha- why me!?" "No time just go!" Someone pushes me into the water from behind, it was probably test tube, everyone's looking at me, I hoist her up out of the water and drop her into the pool tiles, she's not waking up "lightbulb!" I yell "wake up!!" I press on her lungs hoping she would cough up some water and wake up but nothing.. "JUST DO MOUTH TO MOUTH ALREADY!" I hear someone yell from behind me, this makes me tense up and blush a ton d-do I really have to. PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER PAINTBRUSH, THIS IS TO SAVE A LIFE! I lean over her and take a deep breath in I push on her lungs 1 more time before leaning in to do mouth to mouth, this isn't what I imagined our first kiss to be like but oh well!, but before I could do anything she cackles up some water and opens her eyes, seeing me on top of her makes her blush like a full tomato, and I do as well, she sits up making me stumble back everyone is still looking at us, but mostly me for some.. reason..

I help her stand up And I grab one of my towels and wrap it around her then I escort her back to my room and I look back at everyone "what." I say with a mad expression everyone just goes back to partying after that.

I sit lightbulb down on my bed who is still coughing up water, I stand in-front if her ready to scold her, "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING LIGHTBULB YOU CANT SWIM!!" I yell at her, she looks back at me with a frown. This makes me feel guilty "I just wanted to chill by the pool I didn't think I would actually fall in-" "well clearly you did" I say back to her crossing my arms, she just looks down at the corner, this tugs on my heart strings HARD, I HATE seeing her down and me being the one to cause it.. I sit down next to her and I start to hear muffled hics of her crying "hey I'm sorry.. I just.." i decide not to finish that sentence and instead I bring her into a tight embrace pushing her head into my neck, this makes me blush a lot but I don't care. "When you saved my life earlier.. if I hadn't woken up sooner.. would you have done mouth to mouth?.." I hear her say a bit muffled, her words make me blush even harder! D-did she want me to do mouth to mouth!? Or did she think it was weird.. "I- uh, of course I would've.. anything to save your life" I practically force that last bit out, I start to hear giggling coming from below me, I stop hugging her and she looks back at me with a much happier look than before, I don't entirely get how what I said was funny but if it made her feel better then I don't care..

I get up and check the time, it's around 8:30 that probably means the party is wrapping up, I'd assume most people had left by now, it's a shame i didn't get too talk more but oh well I have my priorities. I realised that I had left a couple things down at the pool and I tell lightbulb to stay there while I run down to grab it

I open up the slider door to see test tube standing over my stuff. She's the only one there and she looks as if she's been waiting for me to come back, she grabs my shades and starts running her finger along the sides, she stares back at me and says "soo... lightbulb?.. you really put on a show earlier, it feel good to almost kiss her?" She says cheekily "oh god not you too now!" I say slightly blushing "just give me back my shades!" I go to yank them off her but she raises her arm so it's out of my reach, me and test tube are about the Same height so I could probably grab it from her, but I feel to weak to try harder, "*sigh* what do you waanntt.." I say putting my palm into my face " I want you to tell me about lightbulb.. what's your relationship with her" my head perks up at this and I blush harder "I DONT HAVE TO TELL YOU SHIT!" I yell back at her my hair catching a bit of a flame, she judges my expression and reaction and by that i guess that she can make out that I do have a crush on lightbulb, dang it I forgot how smart she is! "Hm alright then carry on with your night." She chucks me my shades and walks off.

I sit down at the pool chairs and think, I sigh to myself before walking off to find lightbulb, when I get back to my room. I notice she's not there anymore, I turn around to notice her standing behind me.. SHIT was she listing to our conversation the whole time?. She stares at me before running up to me and giving me a kiss on the cheek, it only lasted around 3 seconds before she pulled away and ran into her room and slammed the door, I put my hand up to my cheek and smile. Wish that lasted longer.
