Chapter 6: The Life of an Assistant Professor

Pansy: [Laughs] So did you get knocked out as well?

Draco: Did you lose?

Blue: Nah, I won

This got everyone to shut up, the Slytherins were speechless while the Gryffindors looked at me in amazement. I suppose it's because they all could see that I wasn't joking and that I was completely serious.

Ron: Bloody Hell!

Seamus: That's hardcore

Neville: Woah, he is so cool

Pansy: W-What?

Blue: So...Pansy was it? Is there anything else that you want to laugh about?

Pansy: [Blushes in Embarrassment] N-No Professor

I was honestly surprised she actually apologised, she was really embarrassed and looked at the ground, refusing to meet my eyes.

Luckily I'm a good boi.

Blue: It's okay, Pansy, I don't want anyone to be sad. What's the time? Oh wow the lesson is almost finished.

Burbage: Do you have one more thing to say Professor?

Blue: Yes I do. That is why you shouldn't underestimate anyone, otherwise that person will end up like the guy I beated up. Missing teeth, an L and PTSD.....probably

This got a laugh out of everyone which is good because I wanted to lift the mood there. When the lesson was finished, Professor Burbage went up to me and patted my head.

Burbage: Well done Professor, that was a very strong first lesson

Blue: Thank you, Professor Burbage, why do you look sad?

Burbage: I'm just wondering if you're okay after all that? No one should go through such abuse at a young age.

Blue: Don't worry, I am okay, I just had to teach them a lesson, and it worked. The word Mudblood effects people, but it has nothing on me even if I'm a muggle myself

Burbage: Alright, if you're okay then I am as well. You took that really well, I heard the headmaster has given you permission to attend other lessons to watch, is that right?

Blue: Yep! I'm actually going to see the first year Gryffindors and Slytherins again for their Flying lessons.

Burbage: Okay, run along now, I can cover some of the other lessons today.

I head towards the open field where Madam Hooch has her flying lessons. They were already there and Madam Hooch was just getting ready to teach.

Hooch: Ah Professor Light, come to watch?

Blue: Ye

Hooch: Good good, now what are you all waiting for? Grab your brooms and place it on the floor, then call it up by saying "up" while holding out your hand.

I watched as the Gryffindors and Slytherins all tried to call their brooms, Harry and Draco do it easily as I went to go help Hermione.

Blue: Focus on the broom, Hermione, and the feeling in your hand, once you do, then you say up.

Hermione listens to what I said and successfully did it which angered Draco for some reason. Hermione turns to me and gives me a thankful smile.

Hermione: Thank you professor!

Blue: [Ruffles her hair] Hermione I told you to call me by my first name. You're my friend remember

Hermione: [Pouts and fixes her hair] Okay "Blue"
