I ran. I didnt know where I was running to. as long as it was away from him, it didnt matter.

............................................................................
'.. y/n had no idea what to do. the feeling of betrayal was all she could think of. the possibility of letting him back in was only dragging her..'
...........................................................................

"Y/N, wake up!" I felt my mom tapping my shoulder. I quickly rush up looking around.

"I'm still in the car??" I'd thought to myself.

"Honey, you fell asleep before we even left the house." her mother replied.

"Oh." Y/N said as she looked out the window. fiddling with her fingers.

"we're here!" I heard my mom say as we pulled into a mysteries building.

I got out of the car as I looked around. I had never seen this place before, I'd been all over France, but never this place.

"Mom, where are we??" I asked curiously.

"We're at a restaurant. It just opened up and thankfully we have reservations."

'reservations? she could've told me ahead of time.' Id thought to myself as we approached the doors.

I walk inside the building. I look around the restaurant. It was covered with diamonds and crystal chandeliers.

'who knew a restaurant could be so fancy?' I'd chuckle as we were taken to our table.

I sat down, placing a napkin on my lap.

"What can I get started for you guys?" the waitress said with a gentle smile.

"I'll take lemon tea, please." I said as I waited for my mom to order.

As the clock was ticking, I grew bored. I forgot I had my purse with me. I reach Into it, pulling out my book.

"Are you ever gonna stop reading that?" my mom said staring at me with a serious look.

"No, I actually found some enjoyment in it. moving passed the part that made me cry, I actually like it." I said as I looked back down.

"Hey isn't that h/n?" my mom said as I quickly looked up.

"Really, mom? Really?" I said as I crossed my arms.

"Yeah your totally enjoying that book." she laughed, pushing my shoulder slightly.

I smiled as I rolled my eyes. closing the book as the waitress returned to our table.

We finished our food, leaving a tip as we made our way outside. I put my seatbelt on as my mom began to drive away.

"We aren't done with today, y/n." my mom said as she turned into a corner.

"What do you mean?" I asked curiously.

My mom gripped the steering wheel. It sent me into fight or flight. she didnt say anything.

20 minutes into the ride, we pull into a bigger building. I look at my mom with my eyebrows narrowed.

"Don't look at me like that, young lady."

I lifted my eyebrows.

"Thats better." She kissed my head as we got out of the car. as we approached inside, I could feel something was different.

"Hi, we're here for the 5:30!" my mom said as I looked around still. curious on what this place was.

"Y/N come on." my mom took my hand and led me to a ballroom.

............................................................................
'.. y/n had a strange feeling about this place. she couldn't bring herself to the nostalgia. the more she walked in the room, the worse the feeling got..'
............................................................................

As I stood in the doorway, my mother had disappeared. I began to worry. I looked at every corner, to every door.

she wasn't in my sight.

as I turned to look behind me, there he was.

"H/N." I called out as the light reflected off his eyes. I stepped closer to see him.

"Hi, darling." He said as he grabbed my hand.

I felt my heart beat faster and faster. He was so handsome. I felt like a cloud.

"Why are you here?"I asked gently.

"To see you, of course. Y/N I came to make up for everything I've done. I never meant to hurt you the way I did."

He looked at me with pleading eyes.

"H/N, if you think coming here to dance would fix it, you're completely wrong. I did everything for you and you bailed on me! you betrayed me and left me there to die!"

I shouted at him. I held no guilt against what I said.

.........................................................................
'.. as the two stood there. the memories fled back to them. the two lovers could not bring themselves to speak. they were troubled by their thoughts. she was a diamond he broke. he was a treasure she adored. his guilt overwhelmed him. her pain overwhelmed her..'
........................................................................

"Y/N I.." before he could finish, she cut him off.

"I don't wanna hear it. your sorry, but left me. you want me back, but didn't stay? what did I do to you!?" she snapped back.

the excuses that came from him were pointless. I was too far broken to listen to his apology.

"Maybe your worse then when I picked you up." y/n said as she walked away.

he'd stand there in silence.

"Y/N!!"
