Next day

I got out my house and saw Jose standing outside. My eyes were all red from the crying. 'Can I please walk you to school and talk ?' Jose asked. 'I don't walk with players .' 'What ?! Player ?! You're calling me a player ?!' Jose said shocked. 'Yea, I heard about you and Samantha !' 'Oh my gosh you looked through my phone ?! Look can we walk to school and I'll explain everything ?' Jose said .

'Fine, but it better be worth the walk.' I responded. Jose pulled out his pinky and said 'pinky promise it will be worth it'. He licked his lips and looked in my eyes. I put my pinky out and pinky promised. We started walking.

'I think it's the perfect time for you too explain ?' I said with a little sass. 'Okay, you remember how before my mom died you got mad at me for not responding to your texts and I said I lost it ?'. 'Yea, why ?' 'Well you know how I had detention that day before ?' 'Yea.' 'Well you must know Felicity, she was in their with me. My phone was in my back pocket and she took it and wrote messages to herself and Samantha making it look like I'm a player.

And Samantha had a crush on me since I think 5th grade. I just found out my password, it's Samantha's birthday. But it was your birthdate before. I swear.' What he said was so believable and they are always making up shit. 'Do you believe me ?' Jose said.

'I think I do, I mean I didn't believe it at first but then I saw your messages and you know the rest.' I said. 'Look I would never cheat on a girl, that's the worst way of disrespecting her. I swear and that's my oath to you'. 'I believe you, I don't even think I can stay mad at you, your too adorable ' I said smiling.

He picked me up and spun me around. Then we kissed. We got too school and Samantha saw us holding hands and her jaw dropped. Pshh, she can't take me away. Two can play this game.

One month later

It's February, me and Jose have been going out for 5 months today. We walked to school together as usual. There's a school dance for valentines day. We got into advisory and I sat down. They were selling tickets and Jose bought two.

'So who are you taking to the dance ?' I said sarcastically. 'Umm, maybe you know her. She's shorter than me but tall, she has the most amazing eye's that anyone could melt into. She's smart. Her hair is so playful, she knows how too kiss like I'm in heaven. And most of all she's just beautiful.' Jose said like it was a poem.

'Yea I never saw her around this school'. 'Stop playing, I'm taking you duhh.' Jose responded. I laughed and said 'no I'm dumb, I didn't know that'.

Valentines day

Gahh it's valentines day and well I hated it before but I feel different. I walked alone today because Jose supposedly has doctor's appointment. I got in school and went to my locker. As soon as I close my locker I see a huge ass teddybear pop out, 'Happy Valentines day, babe'. Jose gave me a hug and kiss.

He handed me the bear, flowers and chocolates. 'May you close your eyes'. I thought it was gonna be like a necklace or something until I opened my eyes and saw one of his knees on the floor. 'We been through a lot, but I really know that you're the one' he takes out a ring box and says 'I promise I won't ever give up on us, I know I'm taking this a little fast and stuff but your beautiful, and every guy in this school would want to be with you. I just want them to know your mine and only mine.

I also promise to never do you wrong, I will always listen to you. I know I'm gonna make mistakes in this relationship but I will always chase you, because when you're in love with someone, you don't care how much you have to do to have them. Do you accept my promise ring ?'

I felt tears in my eyes and well I nodded my head and he put the ring on my pinky. Everyone squealed 'awwww !!'. He got up and picked me up. And kissed me. 'I'll pick you up at 7 today, k ?'
