A Billion dollar Rose

Chapter 5

It was raining outside, A man with a woman beside him got out of the car.

"Sir, ma'am. This way." 

They went inside the high-rise. They were greeted by Javier. He lead them to the meeting room, there sat William Moore and his son.

"Good morning, William." Said Edeline.

They all greeted each other, and started to discuss something.

"So you're saying that, my son and your son will get married to combine their wealth and power." William said.

Edeline nodded.

The 2 sons flinched at the discussion. They didn't even know eachother that well, and their parents will just do this?

The meeting ended, both sons tried to communicate with eachother.

"Hey, are you seriously just going to agree to that?" Rio asked.

"No. I won't let that happen."Aaron replied.

They paused for a moment.

"Hey, can I atleast have your name?" Rio said.

"Its Aaron."

They talked a lot about themselves and other things. Elias walked pass Aaron. He noticed Elias and called out for him, he turned around and greeted Aaron and Rio.

Rio was amazed by Elias' height, he was attracted to tall people, if they weren't tall then they should at least be good looking.

*ring*

A call from Rio's mother appeared. Rio answered the phone and gestured that he was going to leave.

(Aaron's pov)

A woman who was wearing a red dress appeared all of a sudden and grasped on Elias' left arm. Elias smiled at her and left, which made my heart ache a little bit. I remembered what Elias said, but it was like they actually loved each other.

I went back to my room to change clothes.

"Hey."

I turned around and saw Leon, I became cautious towards his actions and his words. I slowly took a razor since I was at the bathroom.

"Woah, don't worry bunny I'm not here to do anything to you, just listen." Leon stated.

I didn't put down my guard but I was ready to hear what he will say.

"What do you want." I said.

"First, I heard there's a gang that is rapidly becoming famous, and they're targeting you." He said

"But why me?"

"I don't know, but it's not for me to find out, Mr. Moore."

Leon left my room, I was really bothered about what he said. Since I'm the leader now, maybe I could arrange some groups to gather information about that gang.

[time lapse]

"Sir, we didn't get much information about the gang, but we did find a person who was part of our group but got kicked and joined this group."

The assistant pointed on the picture that had a 13 as a symbol and name.

"You can leave now." I said while looking at that person's resume.

I read the resume and it says

"John Fellow,

A former capo of a half Latin-American group known as the Moores.

He got kicked out for nearly destroying The Moores's reputation and for using the family's wealth for gambling and other things without the leader's consent. He is currently in a group called '13 gangs' with a position as the assistant of the leader."

I thought to myself "maybe it's for revenge after getting kicked out.."

I went to find some information about that gang, it says that they have an arena to test people if they're ready to be part of the gang.

I went out my office to see my guards on the floor, dead. An axe swayed near my neck. I turned my head to see John Fellow. I glared at him coldly.

"What a way to ruin a pretty face.." he said with a husky voice.

"You must be John." I replied.

"Yes, how'd you know?" He asked.

"I've seen your resume in the private room."

"So you're the new leader.."

"And so I am." I said calmly as I tried to push away the axe.

Mr. Fellow dropped the axe and went in my office. His bloody footprints covered the floor which made me upset. He grabbed the papers on my desk and said, "Leon must've told you this." He looked back at me while smiling.

"Oh well, I gotta go now! I have other things to do.." he said and left.

It made me question, how did he know that Leon told me about it.

[time lapse]

It was already night time, I gazed at the buildings on the top floor while drinking wine.

I kept thinking about what happened, suddenly I thought of a plan for them to spill out the beans..
