1. The Past

"But daddy"

"No my darling, I won't risk any more lives. I already lost your mother"

"But this is not fair, I don't wan-"

"That is enough, I will get you a new bodyguard If you don't like your current one. Now go to your room I have an important meeting to go to!"

'stupid dad, why don't I have any freedom? like I'm 18.'

This is so unfair, all my life I did everything without someone's help or attention. But ever since that accident our lives were never the same.

~ Victorious Family going on a road trip in a gold Bentley Mulsanne ~

"We will, we will ROCK YOU!!! ROCK YOU!!"

"We will we wi-"

"Honey can you please turn that down"

"mom but it's my favourite!!"

"Scarlett listen to your mother!"

"But!!!"

"No buts come one now! There are better songs out there to listen to than this on a road trip"

"Ughhh Fine!!! have it your way then"

"Ugghhh wow where is the attitude coming from! you need to listen to what I say because your dad needs to concentrate on the road or else something can happen"

"Then should we what a movie in the car??"

"What did I just say??!!"

"hahaha I'm only joking"

"Haha (sarcastically) ya I hope you are"

"Or else?"

"Or else I will throw you out the car ahaha"

"Wait isn't that like a crime or something daddy??"

"Yes it is but no one will know if we don't say hahaha!!!!"

"Daddyyyy!!!!"

"Hahahaha" Both laughed

Just then the family was going into the side road where a black lorry which carried woods crept in out of nowhere from the side and accelerated faster and faster onto the main road where suddenly quickly there was a sudden loud noise and it resulted in both of the vehicles crashing together. There were smoke and bits of the road scattered everywhere.

But the lorry driver was driving away quickly making this situation a hit and run. The police confirmed that this was no coincidence and it looks to be planned because of how the way the vehicle was there since 5 am like they were waiting for someone. This was shown on the security camera which was collected from a co-op nearby. The video showed no face of the lorry driver. Due to lack of evidence, the police are still searching.

The passenger side of the car where the mother was sat and that side was mostly affected due to this the mother is in critical care. Where the father and the daughter had only scratches and bruises.

some days later -

The doctor called the father into his office and announced.

"Your wife's heart is still beating but she is brain dead"

"Does this mean she is alive?"

"Your wife is legally dead"

"What does this mean!!????"  Victor Shouting to the doctor where everyone around him can hear.

"Sir please calm down I understand your frustration, it just means your wife no longer have any brain function to sustain in this world, the machine will continue to help your wife for the heart part but most of the time the person won't last longer than 6 or 8 days"

"No, no, noo" slowly a teardrop came out of Victor's eyes.

This realisation made his whole body weak and felt dizzy.

Suddenly he dropped to the ground where the doctor had to help him lay on a bench.

A few days later |

The doctor called Victor in to his office -

"I'm sorry to say this suddenly but your wife is officially dead please prepare a funeral, sorry for your loss"

Three years later there was still no evidence or any clue on why or who did it.
This made the father anxious and reluctant to send his daughter out alone anywhere and decided to be more cautious as his only family was his daughter and he is not taking any chances.

"Better to be careful than sorry in the end..." He said.
