No Place In Heaven Part 2

Chapter 1

Azi pov

Malook and I were on a mission, after heaven and hell found out about how powerful he was they agreed that we should work together to protect heaven, hell and earth. We had many missions, mostly in hell to take care of some demons. This time we had to defeat a huge demon who manipulated others terrorized hell and earth. Most of the time we limited their powers, as it's almost impossible to kill them, and I'm an angel I don't kill.

We went in this dark foggy place to find the demon, it smelled like pure sulphur mixed with rotten meat, it was terrible, I wanted to get out as soon as possible. We found him pretty quickly, but he was waiting for us, he tried to seduce us but it didn't work. While Malook tried to get his attention, I cursed him with a spell.

"Mal, we're done.", but he just stared at him.

"Mal? Are you okay?"

"Mh? Yeah. Let's go.", we walked back but I could see the demon from the corner of my eye, a huge grin on his face.

We went back to our house on earth, eating something before sitting on the couch.

"I'm sorry but could you leave the TV off? I don't feel good.", he said with a tired look.

"Okay sure. Cuddle?"

"Yes, please."

He placed his head on my chest, I put my arm around him, wrapping us in my wings. Since we got closer, we do that pretty often, he loves it especially when he's down. Usually, he falls asleep pretty fast and is calm, but this time he was flinching and pulling my shirt.

"Hey, it's okay, I'm here.", I whispered kissing his forehead.

"Help.....me, let me go, leave me.", he mumbled still asleep.

"Mal, wake up."

"Go away!"

"Mal!", I shook him.

"Ah!", he woke up, his eyes weakly glowing red.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just let me go to bed, okay?"

"Sure, do you want me to join?", he just smiled and nodded.

In bed it was the same, but now his wings opened too, something was wrong with him, I just needed to find out what it was. After he got more and more fretful, I decided to make him fall asleep with a small miracle to give him a calm night.

I thought about what could've happened to him but the only thing that seemed the most likely was that this demon possessed him, but his mind was too strong to fall for these, he got mind control too after all. Soon I fell asleep too, holding him tight.

When I woke up the next morning, Malook was already up, I went to the kitchen and covered my face with my wing right in time before the flying plate could hit me.

"You alright?"

"What? Yeah, I messed up the breakfast and I feel like my nerves are wrecked."

"Don't worry I'm here for you.", I smiled and made us breakfast with a wink of my hand.

"I feel weird."

"Will you go to work today?"

"I go check for a few minutes, probably go back to bed later."

"I don't want to worry you but a thought crossed my mind yesterday evening."

"That was?"

"That this demon maybe got you and....."

"Possessed me? Never! I know I'm not a 100% mentally stable sometimes, but I'm resistant, I can control minds too."

"He was powerful."

"And I'm stronger. I'm fine.", he smiled.

He went upstairs to get changed, and again I heard loud noises. He threw everything on the floor, even the chair and nightstand.

"Ehm....."

"I can't find my hat!"

"It's ehm..on your...", I just pointed at his head.

"Get out of my way!", he pushed me aside.

I followed him to his club, screaming and throwing around the furniture.

The employers just gave me a worried and shocked look, I just smiled nervously and shrugged, before entering his room.

"What happened?"

"They did everything I told them wrong! Always have to do it myself!", he hissed, his eyes glowing even more red than yesterday.

"Okay, can I help you?"

"No, just leave me a few minutes. I lay down and try to calm down."

"Okay see you later."
