WillPOV

I stood in front of the Lotus Hotel two days later. I knew Nico would be here, the only place he wouldn't be found.

I took a deep breath and walked in, knowing that I might not come out for a while.

I had never actually seen the Lotus Hotel, but I could easily see why someone might not want to leave. The lobby was filled with huge video games, VR suits with laser guns, a giant indoor water slide, a climbing wall(that seemed much safer than the one at camp), and a bungee jumping bridge.

A man walked up to me. "Welcome to the Lotus Casino, here's your room key." I knew if I took the key, I would be trapped.

"No, sir, I'm not staying," I replied quickly. "I'm just looking for someone." I tried to get around him but he grabbed my shoulder.

"Come on, at least take a LotusCash card and stay for a few hours." I knew a few hours could actually mean a few years in here, but I had to get away from him and find Nico.

"Sure, I'll take a card," I replied, grabbing the small green rectangle from his hand.

"Come to the front desk if you decide you want to stay longer." He said, winking at me.

I walked off, throwing the card in the trash once I was out of his sight.

I quickly found another employee. "Ma'am, could you help me find someone please?"

"Of course, what's the name?"

"Nico di Angelo, we were supposed to meet for lunch and I can't find him anywhere." I replied, hoping it was around lunch time.

"Yes, I saw him heading towards the restroom," She replied, pointing to the bathrooms in the corner. I thanked her and walked off towards the bathroom, not questioning or caring about how she knew who Nico was by seeing him.

I quickly walked into the men's room and waited in the corner for him to come out.

When he did, I could see that his eyes were still puffy from crying. He washed his hands and was about to leave without seeing me before I said something.

"Hey, Death Boy."

He turned and I watched as his eyes widened in shock at seeing the person he had watched die three weeks ago, less for him. "Will?"

"The one and only," I replied as he tackled me in a hug and buried his face in my shirt.
