They were two brothers. Always been by eachother's sides. Especially when they were younger they would always play silly games and wrestle. The oldest one, Tom, loved to roleplay as a cop, he always forced his brother Glen, who was four years younger than him, to play the bad guy so he could bust him over and over.

Even though Glen would rather play baseball he would always agree to play whatever Tom wanted, because he could see from his other friends that their older siblings never wanted to play with them. Their bond was unique, really.
May sound cheesy but they truly loved eachother, almost never fought. More like bestfriends than brothers.
But when they both became teenagers it started to get more serious, they both got their own lives and it felt like they were kind of drifting apart from eachother.
A feeling they'd never felt before. Glen could feel it in his stomach whenever he saw Tom come home from school and just looking at him and then go upstairs to his room, close the door and not see eachother until dinnertime.
But I guess that's the part of growing up, nothing stays the same.

Glen got his own life too. After Tom got to college to study to become a cop Glen was still in highschool, having his own friends, but it never felt right, his bestfriend had always been his brother.
But suddenly it did feel right, when he met a girl named Nancy. He loved her so much.

While Glen was having the perfect highschool romance, Tom had alot of problems at the police academy. He had some issues, not enough patience, and they always said he looked too young, like he was still in high school. That always annoyed him.

But he didn't want to give up, especially since his dad was a cop. He was probably the biggest idol to Tom. He had always looked up to him. He'd always been a daddy's boy while Glen's always kind of been a mommy's boy.

His dad would always help him and talk to him and give him support about his police career, he even tried to get Glen into it too.
That kind of made Tom a little annoyed, didn't dad notice that it was he who dressed up as a cop all the time while they were young.

One time while they were having dinner he made a rude comment about how Glen wouldn't be able to become a cop, which was really unnusual. He never said anything rude towards his brother.

He just had a bad day at the academy. That made Glen go upstairs to his room and shut his door.
His mum forced him to go and say sorry, she was just as suprised as he was at his mean comment.

He went upstairs and even before he could touch the handle Glen opened the door, he wasn't even upset, he smiled and laughed. So did Tom.
Then Tom ruffled Glen's fluffy hair and they spent the rest of the evening yapping on his bed.

It felt great for both of them. Their lives were kind of feeling like before after that, atleast for a little while. A few months later their dad died.
He had been shot while out on patrol inside a little store.
Tom had just been to a dance with a girl he liked, which was pretty rare because he wasn't as into girls as Glen. His mum had come and picked him up from the dance.

That was weird because his dad was supposed to, so he already knew something was off. His mum started crying while telling him. He started crying too but after a while of no speaking and just sobbing, he asked if Glen knew. Mum nodded then smiled and dragged her hand slowly against his chin and said, I know you'd be asking me that question, he asked me the same about you honey.

At the funeral Glen and Tom had to make a speech, which Tom took dead serious. That's what Glen said, wrong use of term Tom had responded.
They ended up sitting in the kitchen writing a two sides page.

They let their mum read it and she cried and hugged them both and said, promise you'll never leave me. We promise mum Glen said, he answered for them both because he could see that Tom started crying.

A year later, Tom had officially become a cop, well an undercover cop at the 21 jump street program.
Where he worked undercover at high schools because, well, he could, because of his young appearance.
He also had his own apartment. Glen would come there after school all the time to ask him about his day.
Tom was glad he found it interesting.

Glen was at the last year of high school, still together with Nancy, when he didn't ask about jump street, he just talked about her all the time.
Tom had obviously met her, she always said that they looked like twins, and that she was scared that she might kiss the wrong boy. Tom liked her, he was glad Glen had found someone, because for Tom himself, love was really complicated.

Glen went to a sleep over with Nancy at her friend's house because she had been having nightmares, the next day her friend was dead. Glen had heard her scream.
It was obviously her boyfriend, because he was the only one in the same room as her during the night she was killed. When Tom heard about what Glen had been through he got really worried.

He drove to their house and decided that he would stay there for a little while. Glen said he didn't need to but their mum insisted.
She was obviously glad to have her two boys home together again. But it all started getting worse, later the boyfriend of Nancy's friend also died, they said he hung himself but Nancy had told Glen that she didn't believe that.

Tom was now really worried for Glen. Two people that he knew had died in under a week. Tom tried to talk with Glen about and said that he was used to this, the drama, even suicides, because he was literally an undercover cop.
He wanted to help Glen so badly but didn't know how to.
Glen must've realised how sad Tom felt about all this so he decided to share some of Nancy's thoughts with Tom, about how she didn't think that these were any ordinary deaths.
He expected Tom to think that it's really stupid but he didn't.
Instead Tom got this thought in his mind that he wanted to solve this. He stood up and said, I promise little boy, I will talk to my chief and I will try to make him put me on this case or whatever.
Glen smiled and hit him loose on his elbow and said, Always thinking you're better than anyone don't you. Now let me go to sleep and we'll talk tomorrow, but please ask mum if she can make pancakes for breakfast.

Tom smiled back and walked out of the room.
Maybe he could actually solve this case? Wouldn't that be just too perfect. He wanted to talk more with Glen but decided that he should probably go to sleep early, because Glen had school tomorrow and he had work.
Glen turned off the lights and was ready to go to bed when Nancy called him, she told him that she knew who killed the others and that he could NOT fall alseep, and that he is going to meet her out on her porch, in 20 minutes.
He had tried to ask questions but she sounded very stressed so he decided to just listen.

Glen sat on his bed, put on some headphones and started watching some tv to not fall alseep. After only 5 minutes his eyelids were getting so heavy that he fell alseep.

Tom was laying in his bed trying to fall asleep but not being able to. He could hear the tv from Glen's room.
He tried to fall alseep either way without thinking about it but it made him crazy, he was so used to sleeping alone in his quiet apartment. So he walked up to Glen's room, knocked on his door but no answer.
Tom opened the door and saw that Glen was asleep. He looked adorable when he was sleeping, his head tilted up, his headphones over his ears, and the tv on his lap.

Tom didn't want to wake him up so he carefully walked over to him and turned off the tv and put it on his desk, then took off the headphones from Glen's head, and put a blanket ontop of him.

He stood there and looked at him for a while. Gosh he loved his little brother so much.
He just wants to tell him that, just tell him how much he means to him.
He decided that the next day he was going to do just that.

The next day Tom decided that he was going to tell his little brother Glen just how much he loved him.

But that would not be possible. Because the next day Glen was found dead in his bed, blood everywhere.
