There were currently 2 days before the first day of Y/n and Albedo's 2nd year in college. The couple had gone to the store to do some last minute shopping, searching for any supplies they might've forgotten to get.
The trip was supposed to be short and quick. Though, Y/n couldn't help but stop multiple times throughout the trip, browsing through various items. Albedo was getting slightly antsy and had decided to wander off on his own, of course letting Y/n know beforehand.
By the time Y/n was done looking for everything they needed, they texted Albedo and waited for him to come so they could pay and go home. Though, nearly 20 minutes had passed before Y/n checked their phone, noticing Albedo hadn't replied yet nor had he even read the message. Y/n sighed and decided to pay and go wait in their car.

A few minutes passed before Albedo was finally out and getting into the car. "Took you long enough," Y/n smiled, starting up the car before noticing a small piece of paper in Albedo's hand. "What's that you got there?" They asked. Albedo glanced down before quickly stuffing it into one of his pockets. "Nothing." He said, looking out the window. Y/n raised a brow. They didn't like this, not one bit. They didn't like this sudden...distance. It felt wrong. In the 3 years they'd been together, Albedo had always been truthful, honest, and above all, loving. So where was this sudden change coming from?
