*Author's note - This imagine was inspired by a TikTok edit that I saw of Bryce and Bobby to the song "Two Birds" by Regina Spektor. My FYP refreshed before I could save it and I'm heartbroken*

*I don't own this song or the lyrics*

The first lie - Two birds of a feather say that they're always gonna stay together

"But this was always the plan," Bryce spluttered, trying to piece together where things had gone wrong. For the second time in her life now, she'd ripped her heart out for the likes of Bobby, only for him to reject her; again. Her, surprisingly still beating heart, was thumping in her hand and blood poured out and ran down her arms. "We were supposed to be together." She looked towards Bobby, desperate for him to say something. "You promised that it would be different this time,"

"I promise a lot of things, Bryce." He admitted, taking a step toward her. "But when I have actually stuck to any of my promises?" He gave a laugh as he watched her once hopeful face drop, and her eyes glaze over. He wondered how long it would be till she cried. She'd never cried in front of him before but tonight, he was liking his chances. If he could get her to rip her heart out for the second time, he was hopeful that he could get her to cry too. "Look at you, look at what you've become." Bryce let her hand, and her heart, fall to the floor. "I've spent the most part of my life behind bars because of what you did. You never, once, showed remorse for me whilst you were climbing the social ladder!" Bobby crouched next to her. "You left me to rot, so why should I help you now?"

"You promised," Was all Bryce could manage. She could feel her anger rising in her chest and she was looking for the power in her body to fight, but it seemed almost hopeless now.

One's never going to let go of that wire. The second lie - He says that he will, but he's just a liar

"We were children!" Bobby replied, walking away. "That was before you left me to save yourself! Now, I asked you a question. Why should I help you?" He watched as Bryce picked herself up from the ground. For a moment, she was unsteady on her but she composed herself. She looked at Bobby gripping the knife she had used moments before to rip her heart out. "No matter how many times you prove to me that you are no good for me, I still love you." She admitted. "I know that was then, and this is now, but I really think we could take over this world if you just gave me a chance." Bobby laughed.

"Love is just as childish." He spat as he watched Bryce reach into the pocket of her skirt to pull out a gun. "What- What are you doing?" He asked, raising his hands in the air slightly. "Come on, you don't have to do this."

"I'm tired," Bryce Whispered, placing her finger on the trigger.

Two birds on a wire. One says "Come on" and the other says "I'm Tired".

The sky became overcast. "I'm sorry," Bryce whispered, pulling the trigger and watching as Bobby's eyes widened.
