Love and Death

I was having a lot of fun talking to axel. He was very sweet and was constantly smiling. I was starting to worry if his face hurt from all that smiling. Even though I'm not exactly the type who smiles often something about his smile was contagious. It was like if I just looked at him smiling or laughing I would want to do the same. I found a smile tugging at my lips as I just listened to him talk.

He was very energetic and definitely an extrovert. I'm pretty much the opposite of him. I'm an introvert who is constantly tired. And I'm over here trying to die while he is saving me. We hung out for another hour then he said that he had to go.

"Well this was a lot of fun, let's hang out again soon!" he said with that signature smile plastered on his face.

"Yeah I agree, see you soon!" I replied with a small smile on my face as well.

I was about to turn around when I felt something soft on my cheek. He just kissed me on the cheek. Wait, what. By the time I had realized what had happened he was alreading running down the road. I was in shock and felt my face heat up. I covered my face with my hands and sat down on a nearby bench.

I was still in shock And my mind was running. No more like sprinting. A million thoughts were jumbled in my head and all I could was sit there and question what had just happened. After a few minutes my mind and thoughts calmed down and I was able to compose myself. I arrived at home and jumped onto my bed while burying my head into a pillow. What just happened.

It probably meant nothing and he was just being nice but I just couldn't get the thought out of my head. I sat there for hours trying to distract myself. I tried going on my phone, reading my favorite books, starting new books, drawing, and anything really but it didn't work. It was now 8:00 pm so I just decided to sleep and wished things would be fine in the morning.
