'Hello?' Maddie answered her phone almost dropping it as it had startled her out of her peaceful sleep..
'This is Antla corporation you have been selected to start working as a personal assistant to the MD of our company' said the lady from the company.
Maddie started screaming before answering the lady who was waiting, this was a dream come true for her. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business administration about 3 years ago but she could not get a job she desired and decided to apply for an assistant position whether secretary as long as she can put food on her table and survive her daily life as she had no one else but herself in this cold world.
She quickly thanked the caller and promised to be there first thing Monday morning. She needed a change of clothes so that she is able to present herself worthy of working at such a big company but she had no money as she figured she will need the money for her transport before her next paycheck.
'Well all I need mainly is a black decent skirt with maybe five smart tops and a jacket or two and I am good to go' she said, excited to get to her new workplace even though she still has the weekend before Monday could come.
She still thought how she will survive in a new environment with new people for she has not always been a fan of crowds. Will her boss respect her? Will she get holidays to relax? Most importantly will the boss hit on me even though he is married and an old man.
