Chpt. 1- Harriet Patrova

Harry's Pov:

       So I didn't get a so happy ending in my first life. Happens when war and manipulative people are around you. How do I know this? Well when I died I knew I like guys than I do women. That and that I somehow became master of death. And since I broke the wand, the title wasn't refundable. So I dragged myself and two people that I thought deserved a better life, into this new world we were in now, but I didn't tell them at the time. So I did get pranked a lot in my childhood as retaliation. I didn't expect to get my gender changed though. Draco thought it was Death taking my subconscious wishes into account. We don't know if it is fact or not though as I didn't plan on summoning Death unless nessarcy.

      My name is Harriet Chu'si Patrova. It was Eva Joeneth Gilbert, but I leagaly changed it once I got the news they died. I wasn't a big fan of the adoptive parents, nor am I a fan of the birth parents. So while I was doing an exchange program over seas my elias was my new Leagal name. My 'nick name' was to friends and people I actually liked. I returned to Mystic Falls, VA. due to my adoptive brother Jeremy Gilbert. He was really the only one I got along with that had the name Gilbert. Today would be my first day back at the school.

    "Harry your going to be late, again," Hermione tells me through the phone. "I'm telling you if Elena doesn't stop stealing my jacket, I'm going to be more than just late," I tell her as I grabbed my white suit jacket instead of my dark pleather jacket that Elena has again stolen out of my dresser closet. "Harry I know you've been trying to show people your not Elena. I believe your early scholarships and degrees proved that," she states. "I wasn't even going there Mione. Now, have you asked Draco out yet?" I asked smirking while I grab my purse and head out of my own personal den that is the basement. "And have Caroline call me a Cougar for dating her brother? No way," she relied. I laughed as I'm going up the stairs. "We'll continue this at school. Later Mione," I tell her. "See you," she then hangs up.

       I start heading to the Kitchen and hear Aunt Jenna lightly stress out. "Toast. I can make toast," I hear her say. I enter the area as Elena says, "It's all about the coffe, Aunt Jenna." Jeremy sleepily walks past me. "Morning JY," I tell him. "Is there coffee?" He asked heading towards Elena. I giggle and head to the cabinets to get a canteen for my morning tea. "Your first day of school, and I'm totally unprepared," Jenna states as she goes to her purse. "Your doing fine Aunt Jenna. We're teens not three," I tried to joke with her. "Lunch money?" Jenna asked. "I'm okay," Elena replies. "I'll take it. I promise I'll pay you back once I get a part time job," I say as I grab the money. "Anything else? A Number 2 pencil?" She asked. "It's not exams yet. We'll be fine. I was living on my own for a year. I'm sure I can help Jeremy and Elena can handle herself," I tell her. "Don't you have a big presentation today?" Elena asked Jenna. "I'm meeting with my thesis advisor at..... Now. Crap," she says then starts grabbing her stuff. "Then go. We'll be fine," Elena say. "Yeah, I can make sure we get to school don't worry," I tell her. She smiles at us then leaves. Elena then turns to Jeremy. "You okay?" She asked him. I rolled my eyes. 'Subtle,' I thought sarcastically. Jeremy sighed annoyed. "Don't start," he told her. Elena has a really bad habit of bossing people around. Seems it got worse when the 'parents' died. "Hey JY, if you want to ride with me go ahead and get your things. I'll be heading out once the tea is made so I can catch up with my friends and still have time to take the rest of the papers to the office," I tell him. "Yeah sure," he says then heads upstairs while he sips the coffee.

    We made it to the school and Hermione is filling me in currently. "So I told you how Elena and Matt broke up. Vicki has been messing around, as usual. Oh, Grams has been telling Bonnie that she is psychic, and that our family are witches," Hermione says in a thinking maner. "Let me guess, Bonnie doesn't believe a word," I stated. "Yep, though it's Grams own fault for that really. I mean I got lucky when she found me snooping in the Grimwars when I was ten. Still can't believe in this life I'm part of a royal witch legacy. Though I'm not telling Grams or Bonnie that we are, too much from drama," she goes into a rant. "I heard Draco decided to join Caroline's cheer camp over the summer," I stated. "Oh yeah. Though he's the only male cheerleader so he does the mascot for the team, and takes over cheer practice when Caroline is missing. And he still does, chess and science club, as well as being on the Student Council," Hermione states. "What is it with Forbes children and accomplishments?" I asked shaking my head. "At least Draco has normal blond hair now, and he wasn't as bad as he was when we were five," Hermione says.
